I think you might be onto something. It's currently #1 on Shazam despite its low chart position.

I think there's hope yet for higher! It's still not on Radio 1, and #2 on Shazam seems like a really good sign, plus impact week will be around album release in a couple of weeks. Or do you think it's just not all going to translate over to Spotify streams?

Scott Mills has chosen Baby as his Song of the Week. That’s the second Radio 1 DJ to do that. Don’t see how they don’t playlist it now.

Bit of a tumble for Baby, down to No.97. Hopefully it starts connecting and building streams now that it has charted. No.5 on Shazam is a good sign. Radio 1 need to playlist already!

I think there is resistance to Marina as a radio artist. But I think it's inevitable eventually.

Baby has not been added to Radio 1 playlists for this week... it's on Radio 2 and Capital FM A-lists. Guess they really are holding out on this one.

Can anyone explain what this song's chances now are of getting added to the Radio 1 / Capital playlists? Is it bad it didn't get added instantly? I know some of Clean Bandit's past hits did, but not all of them? What are the factors that will determined whether radio takes it up? I really hope it gets a chance to be a hit in this country!

What will be the factors that determine whether Baby makes it onto the Radio 1 playlist from here? And how soon / long might it take to happen? It strikes me as radio friendly personally... plus Clean Bandit have such a consistent radio play record.
