After the massive success of 'Spirit' that sold over 6 mil, are they really going to push her back for Alexandra who haven't proven anything? I highly doubt that. I'm pretty sure Leona will still be their #1 artist seeing as how much money she made for them. Quite agree. If Alex top Leona's success with her debut, maybe she won't be under Leona's shadow. Agree again. Her voice is not my taste & I find nothing special about her. But that's just me.

I could really careless about awards. It doesn't make her less of an artist. IMO, album sales are what matters most. & over 6 mil in just 14 months is pretty amazing for someone who came from X Factor. I would've thought Best Female Pop Vocal Performance would go to LL though. Don't expect her to win anything from Brits either. But you can't compare Coldplay's success to LL's. LL 's debut just came about little over ago while Coldplay has been out for how long?

If both are asked to sing an uptempo song, no doubt Alex will probably outshine Leona. But if both are asked to sing big ballads, LL will own the stage. I'll take LL anyday anyway. Can't stand Alex's husky voice (imo)

I think Spirit will overtake the Beatles & will eventually land #5, because after this week she will be 2.7

Some people are already comparing the girl to Whitney Houston :unsure: But I'd like LL to keep the fastest debut record & not Alex.

I wouldn't say none. People thought none would beat AM's debut sales until LL came. So who knows.
