Orton v. HHH v. Cena - Hm, I'm not sure about this one. The current plan for SSlam is Cena v. HHH, but that could be non-title. I have a feeling Cena will win the belt, and I think it's necessary as that's the least stale option to take. CM Punk v. Jeff Hardy - Punk's heel tendancies have been great, and they've built him extremely well. No doubt that Punk is retaining, though. Jericho & & ??? v. Legacy - I would love CM Punk to be Jericho's partner, but I have no idea where they want to go with this. I'll say Jericho's team retains, because that's the most interesting route. Six Pack Challenge - Swagger, all the way. I can't predict this, though, as it's been reported that Carlito v. Primo is on the cards for SSlam, so it could be for the U.S. Title... Tommy Dreamer v. Christian - Christian needs to win. He's the most over, and one of the best workers this year and I don't think Dreamer is strong enough to hold the belt at this point. Rey Mysterio v. Dolph Ziggler - I'd love for Ziggler to go over. We know WWE have a lot of plans for him, but will they pull the trigger? I think so, if not at NOC, then in a few weeks. Maryse v. Mickie James - Maryse goes over here. She's the best heel Diva (excluding Beth) in a long, long time. She needs to continue her reign. Michelle McCool v. Melina - Lame, and I don't care, but Michelle won't lose the belt.

To open around 50k is poor, however you want to spin it. I said I hope it shows longevity, but I'm not sure it will be able to as I don't think "S.O.S" is a song that will keep album sales stable. With regards to her being dropped, I agree with you, I don't think she will be - but if she wants to stick with her current label she will have to come back hard next era.

"No Parade" has a really strong chorus. The song has real potential. I still can't enjoy this album in full, but I hope it shows longevity as her attitude and personality are what music needs. And even if this album flops, I highly doubt she'll get dropped as her debut went platinum but she will have to come back hard next era.

"Pretty Wings" is a classic, now. I'd be inclined to say it might be my favourite song of 2009 so far. The entire album, however, is just a masterpiece. I can't name a track I don't really like on the record. Album of the year, no question. This is smooth, soulful R&B at it's best.

This is on Jay's myspace, and man it's HOT. This is a surefire Urban smash. I don't think the hook is that instant, but after a couple of plays I found it really addictive. Jay's really come back hard this era.

"I Look To You" premiered on U.S. radio yesterday. It's rumoured that this will be released along with "Million Dollar Bill", with "I Look To You" probably being catered to AC radio. Anyway, this is a strong ballad from Whitney. It's way better than "I Didn't Know My Own Strength". Based on the snippet, I thought it'd be a little boring, but it's a strong lyric and Whitney sings it with such conviction. I am dyring to hear "Million Dollar Bill" though!

This is better than any of his boring tracks released in the UK previously.

I read an article that said she was working with The Neptunes again? If so, then I'm interested as Kelis without The Neptunes = nothing. "Kelis Was Here" was a fair album, but doesn't touch her debut (or even "Tasty"). It was a shame she ditched Pharrell & Hugo for her last record.

Why are RAW endings just so dull? It's just predictable it's going to end with Legacy beating down HHH & Cena or vice versa. Lame. This week's RAW bombed, in my view. Last week Seth Green was a breath of fresh air as host, but ZZ Top were just embarrassing. It was hard to watch at some points.

The reason "Touch My Body" was a "quick" hit was because they repressed the song, meaning it was sent to U.S. radio in mid-February and wasn't available to purchase until late March. It gave "TMB" a chance to rise on airplay (which it did pretty quickly) so the first week sales would be impressive. That's why "Obsessed" has not been as successful (yet), as at the time of it's release it hadn't been given the chance to reach a mass audience. "Touch My Body" was also released to radio on the back of a hugely sucessful era ("TEOM"). A drop in sales was to be expected this week, as the song is still taking off on radio.

Well, the sales will not increase (rapidly, anyway) until "Obsessed" blows up on Pop (Top 40 Mainstream) radio. Here are the most up to date positions on radio: #43 Pop (+206 spin increase) #16 Urban (+369 spin increase) #12 Rhythmic (+470 spin increase) #32 Urban AC (+37 spin increase) This is over a 7-day period and does not include today's update. It's gaining hard on Urban & Rhythmic formats, and is starting to take off on Pop. As shown in recent months, Pop tend to be more accepting of a track once it's a secured hit on Urban or Rhythmic (i.e. "Blame It", "Knock You Down", "Best I Ever Had" etc.). It's really taking off, so I wouldn't panic yet :)

It has literally NO burn factor whatsoever, for me anyway. I've listened to "Obsessed" hundreds of times now and it's still not boring. It's the killer MC lyrics. I'm glad this song is starting to show signs of life. It's amazing how quickly people like to label a track as "FLOP" before it starts to take off.

I thought their release was the same week? EDIT: My bad! Jay's album is released on Sept. 11, while Mariah is Sept. 15.

Don't worry Kelly, "Obsessed" is starting to take off. Give it more time before we call it unsuccessful. Anyway, the album push back is confirmed. This sucks, as there's no chance in HELL "Memoirs" is going #1 with Jay-Z's record dropping a few days before. His first week album numbers are always very high, especially if his lead single is going to be a hit (and w/ Kanye & Rihanna, it's looking that way). I understand their reasoning, and "Obsessed" is taking off (even on Pop) but it's a bad time to release it and they may have ruined her chances of securing a #1 album.

I really like Monica, but this is not lead single material. She needed to come back harder than this. I'm glad she's staying true to R&B, but Missy's inclusion in this track is just aggrivating. It's a fair song, but doesn't cut it for me.

That's exactly how I feel. It's just such a lame sample. That's what kills the song, for me. It's just not "cool" in any way. I really like Jordin, but this is not the uptempo song she needs.

GREAT choice. I don't think it'll be a big hit on Pop, but it should do well on Urban radio. It's possibly my favourite track on the album.

Agreed. Since "Obsessed" was premiered, buzz has slowly declined. They should've repressed the single like they did with "Touch My Body", at least then they could've secured her 19th #1 hit. It doesn't look like they're going to release another single before the album, but hopefully "H.A.T.E U" is pure fire and is a hit. I have a feeling this album will be one of her best, artistically that is. It's a shame her singles flopped hard last era, as it killed the momentum "TEOM" gained.
