Halo should be a monster smash WW, but Diva may do better in the U.S. A lot of people think Halo will be bigger than Irreplaceable, but I don't think so. Both are amazing, though. I think Halo has a good chance going #1 here.

There's still a demo for American Pie? Jeez, it seems so dated now. The original and sequel were cool at the time, and fun to look back on I suppose, but it's time to move on.

The definitive Angelina Jolie performance. Magnificent. One hell of a stressful movie, though. Eastwood works his magic again. Easy #1 film of 08 for me.

I don't think his streak should be touched, to be honest. I think he's got another year left in him, though. Not long as he's in bad shape, like, all the time. I still can't get over HHH being in another ME at Mania. He's like the most stale he's ever been (and that's saying something). I'm hoping - as WM plans change weekly - Hardy can gain more momentum so they keep the belt on him. I don't want to be miserable leading into Mania and if H is in the WWE Title match, I will be. I know it's said a lot, but enough really is ENOUGH with him hogging the spotlight.

Cena v. JBL? BORING. I know a lot of title matches at the Rumble aren't always "big matches", but this blows. Beth v. Melina? Should be good. They had a fair I Quit match sometime last year. Melina's been hot since her face turn (pre-injury). The Royal Rumble is always fun. Taker isn't retiring yet. He's slated to face Michaels, but I'm not sure how they would set it up with this JBL angle. Maybe HBK will cost JBL the title match and then face him at NWO and move onto Taker at Mania? If WWE don't produce Undertaker v. Michaels at Mania a lot of fans will be pissed off. After reading Mania plans I'm so pissed. The planned Smackdown ME for Mania is STILL slated to be HHH v. Edge with Trips winning. Hardy is on fire and I understand the big plans for him (which I won't spoil if people don't know) but he deserves to be in the ME. Another HHH masturbatory Wrestlemania.

That's a really good point. The term overrated has been used quite loosely, I think. Maybe the thread should be renamed "Songs that didn't deserve the success they had". A hell of a lot of songs listed haven't really had much critical acclaim.

In regards to Britney's new album, Circus, I'm in FULL agreement with you. I feel the only real "stand-out" tracks are Womanizer, Circus and If You Seek Amy. Radar is another one, but that was brought over from Blackout. I think the best tracks on Blackout outshine all of Circus. I think her latest is mostly filler... 79. Changeling The most uneasy, oppressing, stressful movie I've seen in years. Great classical directing for this horrible, horrible nightmare of a story. It's a tension that never gets resolved in any way. Angelina Jolie gets the role of her life. Great, great movie. Easy #1 (not that I've seen a whole lot this year). The Dark Knight is another one. This is in another stratosphere to any previous Batman film.

That's exactly why I loathed the guy when he had his 1yr+ WWE Title reign. Since returning back at the Rumble this year, he's actually "human". I think Vince realised he's their top guy and shoving him down our throats will do him no good in the long run. I think if Cena turned heel it could actually be the most successful major turn in history. I think it could provide some big numbers for WWE, actually. People have been wanting it for so long now. Everyone misses his bad ass heel promos. I'd take them over his cringe worthy c**p that he's been dishing out for the last few years. It could also be a bad move for WWE. Kids are *so* into Cena it's not funny. His merch sales are off the chain and WWE may not do well at p***ing off the demo their currently aiming towards (the kiddies).

I get the Cena "five moves of doom" shizzle, BUT he's kinda earned my respect. He's like the hardest worker on the roster. He's always everywhere. Plus, he garners reception. That's something Trips tends to avoid because he works the same boring match over and over again. At least Cena doesn't think he can work longer than anyone else when he's really a terribly boring worker like H. He works for kids. He's a great role model, especially with this PG-13 $h!t WWE are doing. He had time out from being "Superman" when he actually lost matches and didn't hold onto the title for 27476463 months. Yeah, he's definitely grown on me. Cena v. Orton would be even better now because of the dynamics in their characters. Cena is a Hulk Hogan type action hero babyface, where Orton and his group are the evil, arrogant doo-gooders. It's a perfect set up.

Agreed. I'm kind of hoping for a collab with Lil' Wayne. I know that may catch people off guard, but it would work. Their collab on Misunderstood was great. It was such a contrast that worked really well. PLUS, it would widen her appeal to the urban market which is a good way to go. I'm not saying I want her to do a U-turn and become a Hip Hop artist, but it would just allow her to reach more of an audience in the US. She doesn't need it because she's had two big POP hits, but it's just what I'd like to see. That and some mellow R&B tracks like off Alicia Keys' last album. I'm probably in the minority, though...

Maryse may have blown her knee. Talk about bad timing, huh? Victoria's a bit dated now. She had a few good title runs, but she's so stale now. Back when she had the whole "psycho" gimmick going, she was pretty cool. I actually think Maryse is great for the women's division. She plays the (ever so original ;)) arrogant b**ch gimmick shockingly well. I'm actually starting to like Cena now. Teaming with Trish definitely helped that. Perfect combo.
