The issue with him, it is Friday going into Saturday and he isn't even all that close to IGF, which indicates his sales won't be high this week and are unlikely to grow at all. This time next week on iTunes he will defo be back behind BBP, like all the rest! No one can shift BBP at the moment...there is not a strong enough song! Everyone thought it would be Drake, but he is seriously lacking in my opinion! The hype suggested he could do nearly 300k, he won't even do 200k this week. If I'm being honest, this is his only shot at no.1 this week! But I suspect he will only beat BBP digital sales by about 10k if that...and they will stay at no.1! I could be wrong tho! <_<

No chance of no.1 next week! His sales will reduce come Sunday, and BBP still has a big advantage over it in airplay! 12 weeks at no.1 coming! Mariah might be the one to beat them, but in saying that she might wait till the start of Aug to release her download, when her airplay is high to make sure she gets to no.1! That would be crazy if BBP could hang on til then...depends on how well the sales and airplay hold up---- but at the moment the signs are Boom Boom GOOD. :cheer:

Exactly if, Flo Rida had sold 188k that week he would have remained at no.1 on the HOT 100! So, as you have rightly calculated he would have missed out on 13k of sales. When points were added up for airplay and sales that week- as in airplay points and sells points- the difference amounted to Flo Rida needing either 4,000 sales or 4million extra listeners than he did have to stay at Hot 100 no.1. So Flo Rida only needed to sell an extra 4k and would have been no.1 on the Hot100. Unless, you are complete unaware of how the Hot 100 is calculated?!?! Because I'm starting to think you don't know, as you wouldn't even try and argue if you did! So, we have the facts, here, he sold 184 k, he lost out on 13k worth of sales, he only needed an extra 4K to stay at no.1 on the Hot 100 [due to him have more than 16million listeners than PF). I.e. he would have stayed without the error. Msg Britser, you have no idea about the No.1 boost; if you discount it as nothing. Because plastered all over sites like Perez Hilton, Music sites, ads (extra advertising) come up just displaying the current US iTunes no.1, so please don't even try an dispute that! Of course you can say they were both all on radio, but extra advertisements help especially on music sites, lol..... - I could truly understand you arguing if he had needed an extra 13,000 sales to stay at no.1, as who's to say he would have sold that between that particular period, [forgetting the no.1 boost for a min]. But, seeing as he only need 4,000 extra sales to remain as Hot 100 no.1 (a third of the sales he would have missed out on) it's a bit of a no-brainer not to realise that he would have stayed there without the error! -Finally explain why iTunes issued an apology stating they cost him Hot 100 no.1; if they did not? We cannot extrapolate the rest of the week, as on that tuesday he extended his lead, so we can quite comfortably imagine he would have remained their all week as his lead was not falling, and there was still a decent gap [he wasn't in imminent danger]! As I keep saying he lost the rightful no.1 boost, and wasn't able to regain it! GaGa got it wrongfully, but i suppose that didnt last long anyway thanks to BBP ending the 'faux' no.1! You clearly live in denial! You were happy at the time, that the deletion happened! And everyone acknowleged that it was an iTunes mistake which cost Hot 100 no.1. Now you have selective amnesia. All of this is BS! It was stated constantly on here, that they day before the deletion happened, Flo Rida's lead had actually increased by 3 bars. And yes he didnt go back over, but the wheels were coming off the song, not enough not to stay up at the top all week we ASSUME as his lead had increased in the prior 24 hrs! But, he lost the no.1 boost which GaGa wrongfully gained. Which meant her 'no.1' on iTunes and face was being advertised across the net. FYI Flo Rida was off for 13 hours!! Due to his airplay advantage he would have needed to just sell an extra 4k to stay at no.1. Seeing as they were both selling over 25k a day, only someone who is rubbish at maths can't see that this made all the difference that week! Itunes even issued Flo Rida with an apology for costing him no.1 as it was EVIDENT! ..And, yes I agree Poker Face is a far superior song....but it didnt deserve US No.1, and will always be a default one! If you add the 2nd entry, it's actually 2:3 in favour of IGF. They will have to outsell it, by over 100k. They could do a Live Your Life enter at no.1, fall the next until it has a good amount of airplay to overhaul BBP completely. This the likely scenario, cos BBP is not done at no.1! Whatever, BEP are dominating iTunes and no one has a chance at no.1 on the Hot100 for a LONG TIME...and the album will be a constant seller!

Yes, they have lost about 3 bars since yesterday! But, from tomorrow that will get a Boom Boom Pow bonus! No new song coming! The only hope for others is, if they get deleted for some strange reason! With album version rising it will be possible for Sean Kingston to get past that version. But with the 2 versions added together, they will be far out in the lead. With the lower version starting to fall after a week, the strength of the higher version will increase again. (This is what has happened in these cases of a song being no.1 and it's parent album coming out) They will be Boom Boom Powing for a while, if this doesn't happen. Could it challenge Mariah for longest no.1 of the century?!?! :o
