iTunes Chart November (III)
RiRi will do the double tomorrow. She showed Olly how it's good to maintain sales throughout the week, as she had done each of the previous 7 weeks before...hence her solid chart run. 1D had no chance in the albums, the gap was probably 30,000 at the midnight, last night. She wouldn't have been caught by them tbh. Next week, well she will be dethroned. She will be no.2, again with a slight battle with Olly, before seeing him off. Albums is harder to call I expect Rihanna will sell around another 100k (not much more/less tbh) and anyone who can top that, no.1 is there. Buble's growing...and well Olly could enter with 75k or 125k, you never know?!

Sorry to be rude but, are you for real?! Olly is still 9% ahead of Flo still, and his lead over Flo has grown by the day (sales wise). Rihanna is 25% ahead (and increasing) of Olly...and has all but eaten up his original 6400 lead. So who do you think is gonna be no.1????

RiRi 19% ahead of Olly. She's probably peaking now. I think she will still be no.2 on Friday's update. I hope she has pulled back another 2000 today.

IMO, I love her, but I want her to take a break for her health! She should release her next new album in 2013. She can still feature on other folks records to keep her voice out there..we need it e.g. Take Care!! Tbh though, it's likely we will get Talk That Talk: Again ...with 3 new tracks lol or GH next yr with a few new tracks too!

She took 2400 in one day, before the weekend effect even starts. If she does that tomorrow, the lead will be down 1600. SHe might regain it by Friday. This should be interesting.

Ok,JLS more relevant??? Haha

It's probably like more like 17%. But if they are both selling in excess of 10k atm, Rihanna will claw back another 1700. She's coming HARD! :yahoo: From no.2 queen, to comeback queen haha! *Edit* WHat is also good for her, is the number 2 entry closed a lil overnight. Because whilst the others were gaining it was falling...

Of course, he had an 1hr plug, so has every week on Xtra Factor (he's throwing the kitchen sink) He won't appeal to the casual buyer that much tbh. Lol, at him being such a desperado.....she's coming big time...too snatch that wig!!

The reason is that the patterns hardly changed. Tbh his biggest hope is Rihanna's sales crash, but with the hype of her album I doubt it very much. The news that she is beating 1D will give extra press too. Rihanna's tour counts as promotion too, thought most of the goers will have got it already LOL. On Xtra Factor, it will be like 10pm, tbh the game will probably be up by then, with Rihanna having like a 30% lead, he might catch up 1/2% but the weekend effect will be working so much against him. They both will sell over 80 k...the winning margin being about 2k lol! RiRi turned over a gap of 4k to beat that group by 7k, when only selling 66k...easily possible considering they are headed to even bigger sales this week!!

You're maths is wrong. He was less than 6300 ahead yesterday. Also, it was up until midnight on Monday those sales. Rihanna was behind One Direction not Flo Rida... and it was probably by about 4000 at the same point last week, and she beat them by around 7000. The weekend effect is when songs which have been out a while always climb and new songs fall and crash. Happens between Friday and Sunday every week. Rihanna has been out donkeys years so she will strengthen whereas Olly will fall. In my opinon she will probably sell about 3000-4000 more than him in TOTAL over those two days. So if she closes to within that by Friday, he's toast. Also the amount they are selling, means her 15% is eating into his lead alot faster than she was doing in all of her previous comebacks, bar her first week against Maroon 5. All in all, I think her being number 1 is the most probable outcome.

Rihanna is less than 6300 behind. Tbh, I think it will be close but Rihanna is outselling him now on every platform. He sold 17k the first 2 days, if he is selling say 12k today....it means she probably has closed the gap by a 1200 today. And she will keep gaining back the advantage. And we all know what happens when it comes to Friday and Saturday LOL! I honestly think there is a good chance he will be caught. What is keeping him a float is the number 1 boost tbh and the fact that Rihanna has multiple entries works against her getting that back even though it's in effect putting her in the lead. She needs Olly to crash and get that back, but that'll probably happen LATER LATER (like Friday evening) in the week!

RiRi no.1 combined then!! This week should be interesting..Should expect Olly to be nearly 2k digitally ahead...does he have a physical?

i would say that was awful! And is a big no for longevity!!
-
iTunes Chart: November 2011 (II)
I mean, as a week goes on. he could easily sell 15k today and sell 7k on SATURDAY. he's that kind
-
iTunes Chart: November 2011 (II)
Lol, every Olly single has been frontloaded in the first week. Selling well then falling back a lot! It has only after a few weeks does he consistently sell the same amount...without the big day to day dips!! I didnt think Rihanna was great, but she did enough!!!

Sunday Chart Predictions
I said they must have been 4000 ahead tbh. Also, due to how far they have been away on iTunes all week in comparison to JLS, they must be selling more physicals.
