it's pretty easy to estimate where the others are, and their gaps, cos they will be constant! GaGa is probably, a lil bit behind no.5 cos the gap between 5 and 6 was the biggest gap on the chart (unless you went higher, to the X Factor Queens)

H Two, T2 were older songs from like 2yrs before! They werent that huge, I didnt see this buzz last yr when they were being played, cos we all knew it- evreryone commenting how long it took to make it into the mainstream! Kid Cudi will be no.1 im sure of it! -_-

It will, its the biggest song in clubland here, by a mile atm! When people hear a 5sec clip to here its coming, the places always erupt, as if it's the 2nd coming, and that aint happened for a LONG TIME!

Tbh Downloads being their highest doesnt mean much, cos every songs downloads have increased, and new ones would coming in at that level! If the benchmarks have been raised, that means most songs downloads will increase to match this! Tbh, with the Killers selling like just under 5k a day, it should be top 10 already tbh! That aint asking much at all I still think its sales will be consistent and will have a chance to topple Kid Cudi at the end of the month, but it's chances would have increased as you said, if she had waited a few more weeks!.

She should climb to no.6 fast when she gets to no.10 but then there are bigger gaps...so progress will be slower!

Leona will be back no.1 by Sunday, with Alex in 2nd, but Alex has huge physical might, so will hold off allcomers for the next 2 weeks at least tbh!

The point I'm made is that if it had sold say 7k yesterday, it would have been in top 10 already this morning, quite comfortably, it hasnt obv...so we have all overestimated the INITIAL demand of the song! Cos, on Sunday (with exception of Alexandra) no one really ever appears on advertising till monday, and it doesnt stop those songs get to the top 10 within 24hrs. But, i still think it is more of a grower, like it has been in the states, then an instant smash! Tbh, i think Alex will clear 100k with ease, as she is still selling over 10k downloads a day and has physical advantage! I feel it will drop between 60-70k next week, but still nothing will challenge her!

GAGA debate: Personally, I agree with both sets of people, in parts! If this song was in such huge demand as we all thought, it wouldnt be stuck at no.11 after 48hrs. I would use Estelle as a reference point, she werent on the front page and still manage to get 7k+, that 1st Sunday, and if GAGA had sold that much, she would have been in the Top 10 already, as Robin has already stated. I agree that when it gets into the top 10 it will get it's boost, but not to top3 this week tbh...i am kinda shocked, cos I thought it had a chance of being no.1 next week and now it is clear that it wont be! My only hope is that is a grower and can sustain sales long enough, to withstand the arrival of Kid Cudi (which is the biggest song in clubland atm) and rise to no.1 by the end of January!

The 2 updates were 4hrs apart! And GaGa moved up only past Rihanna, and Pink wasnt exactly far away to pass in that update either tbh! Im starting to think it will be a grower like the US, cos it's numbers are not gonna start firing from the off...we can see that now! The 411- People are disappointed cos normally if a song is gonna be a monster hit (like everyone was predicting) it normally is Top 10 by the 24hr mark, and this is quite a way off that...and I think the last 4hr update has scared people as she only moved up a place. Don't all shoot me but I dont think Gaga will hit No.1 on the official charts until like the end of January tbh. My reasons being that Alex will sell just over 100k next week, and she should still sell 50-60k the following week (due to huge discounting of the physical) and I think GaGa will also be in that region that week, so it will be close. I think then Kid Cudi will knock her (Alex) off! And, then still selling well GaGa will topple that! If not, then this song will do an 'Adele'! :(

My money is on Taylor Swift nabbing the number 1 spot within the next 48hrs! Girlfriend, is everywhere lol! And, due to the post holiday increase, I think her "love story" will benefit heavily!

It's called marketing! Just like the fact the PS3 will be reduced in March 2009, Sony were unlikely to confirm this to be true, cos who would buy it at Xmas. Exactly the same with 'Run' we were always going to be able to download it at some point (when the album was digitally available) so we could have made it a success then, ala 'Disturbia'! P.S. I Will Be isnt gonna generate much interest yet, with the song and vid only being sent to outlets, towards the end of Jan :lol:

Personally, I didnt think IT was calculated via how many TV sets are estimated to be on the channel, they use averages of people watching too! So, I am sure that they increase these averages on Xmas Day!
