Rihanna to Cops: Chris Brown Threatened to Kill Me Today 4:25 PM PST by Ken Baker Rihanna, Chris Brown Kevin Mazur/Getty Images Earlier today, the Los Angeles district attorney asked police detectives to dig up more evidence for their case against Chris Brown. The police are getting cooperation from Rihanna, and what she has told them so far is chilling. A source close to the investigation tells E! News exclusively that Rihanna has alleged to police that Brown choked her while threatening to kill her and, subsequently, she lost consciousness. They began squabbling after leaving Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party late Saturday. Shortly after midnight, things blew up. Brown pulled his silver Lamborghini to the side of a street in L.A.'s Hancock Park neighborhood. That's when, per the source, Rihanna grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, sending Brown into a rage. He tried in vain to find the keys, then came back to the car, put his hands around her neck and, according to the insider, said, "I'm going to kill you!" According to the source, the 20-year-old "Disturbia" singer told police that she lost consciousness, and when she awoke, Brown had fled. According to the source, her right eye was blackened and badly swollen and she had hand prints on her arms. The responding officers were so concerned about her, they drove Rihanna to the hospital in their squad car instead of waiting for an ambulance. Officers took two sets of photographs of the banged-up singer, one at the scene and the second after she was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment. Those photos were presumably among the evidence presented to the district attorney. After being treated for her injuries, police escorted her down a rear elevator and into a waiting Mercedes, the source says. Brown, 19, was subsequently booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. He was released after posting $50,000 bail. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, has not responded to repeated requests for comment on the allegations. Brown's publicist also has not commented. A spokeswoman for Rihanna declined to comment specifically on details of the fight and the arrest and stuck to her earlier statement from Sunday: "Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support."

I saw Never at #67 and thought she had climbed, but realised it was the Fray :lol: Back down to #99 though! The worst thing about it, is that it is being outsold by songs who have been on the chart donkey years. Promo wise BET will have her, but performing on the chatshows might not happen, as she aint doing too well, and they would want someone big to draw extra viewers! i told you people, this song had flop written all over it! no.98 after more than 24 hrs is rubbish and the airplay is hardly skyrocketing! hope there are more club bangers on the album.. p.s. i aint feeling that Chris Brown track, but if she releases that it will do well cos it's got Breezy on it, and airplay loves him, lol!

In fairness Beyonce's sales are a lil mismatch due to the fact that most ppl want to dance to the video, and it's now the biggest selling video ever on US iTunes apparently, so has lost loads of sales due to that, BUT without the video, it wouldnt have been as successful as it has been!

I added up the figures lol! Kelly is safe, SHE IS NO.1 , cos Beyonce isnt enough ahead on airplay! N.B. Kelly might have increased by over 1000 plays on top 40 to go into the Top 10 but it's only gone up in audience there by nearly 5 million (which actually is a bit of an under performance for that amount of growth in plays)!

Yes Kelly is on 36 million and Beyonce is 'only' on 135million, so no.1 is Kelly!

The Top 10 needs a shake up 2 old songs hogging spot James Morrison and the Kings of Leon, but looking at the bars nothing new is touching the top 10 for like the 7 days, unless Jason can pull something out from somewhere!

Well GaGa lead over Beyonce is decreasing (in terms of gap, so airplay is all important again), and the airplay is still widening...aka bye GaGa Kelly would have to sell another 240k next week to stay at the top most likely, aka never gonna happen (i predict 220k at best)! Which leaves Kanye, who is the only person with 'real' rising airplay, and if he beats Beyonce by over 30k next week, no.1 is his!
