One of the best albums of all time.Meat Loaf Bat out of Hell. Never got higher than no 9 spent 470 + weeks on the album chart.

Does anyone know what the current record for the most weeks on the chart in a calender year? I believe Oasis may hold the rcord with a 100+ weeks in the 1990's. Lady Gaga must be close to that figure and Michael Jackson must have notched up 80 or so weeks this year.

I also have worldwide chart runs and peaks of all Michael Jackson singles/albums since he passed away if you want me to post them? Yes please.

I would only buy if top 75. The last Guiness Book I have (I think until the end of 2005), covers the full album and single charts. I can't see why theyc an't do that again or have two sperate books singles and albums (including compliations).

I personally think it shows the new charts in a positive manner and we get a list if the favorite songs each week without any exclusions (save for freebe releases and there aftermath). I suspect Mint Royal is the biggest sellar and only No 1. Does anyone have a list of their weekly chart position?

I know that Rumours,Bat out of Hell are probably the two longest runners. I think Abba Gold may be No 3 or 4 as well.

I was thinking of rentering the top 75. Some others I remember:- Led Zeppelin-Stairway to heaven (due to digitial release). First time it ever charted Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet home Alabama twice I think once from film and once due to Kid Rock Neil Diamond- Sweet Caroline 2 short runs because of Glastonbury & BBC Show Pavarotti- Nessu Dorma due to his death All of the christmas songs in first 2007 Christmas chart as many as 15 +, not sure which ones. Any more...........

Does anyone have a list of those old songs that returned to the charts since downloads were counted at the beginning of 2007? I was thinking of songs like In the air tonight and Let your love flow because of adverts. Also christmas songs, songs from movies etc. Thank you
