Voted. Jesus, the genre that is electropop can't die soon enough. Baffling how bland it is. To make matters worse: There are like 15 songs entered you could throw into that genre box (bin) and they all sound exactly the same.

Although I was sure I had participated in my last UP as the the format and quality of this thing has turned completely different (and worse) from what it used to be, the editions held in the summer holidays tend to be a tad better. I guess people have more time to listen to the songs and who knows.. People might enter something with 'growing potential' rather than boring electro-pop. I think I have a decent song ready and will probably enter eventually..

This. But it's been like this in the last 10 editions, hasn't it. Not sure why I keep fooling myself.. The fact that there are some who write 'voted' the day after the songs are revealed should hint that the early editions, where 'growers' had just a slight chance of doing good, are long gone..
