One B side, Horizon Shining. Upbeat and rather good.

Happychat thread
*post edited by suggy. I find it disgusting that you should feel that way, and feel the need to post your delight on the general Gareth thread too. I am sure that you do not represent the view of Will fans generally.

I can't believe that you used a grinning smiley after that comment about him being beaten up. The story is quite horrible. How can you possibly think its to be smiled at? edits. Posted at the same time as the post above. Still - you'll no doubt be pleased that you caused a reaction.

No. It's written by Gareth. I think its been a pretty common title for a song over the years.

I don't think it should be released as a single, no. It was recorded for a specific purpose and that's what it should stay for IMO.

It seemed quite different to me. Different tempo and different feel...though I'm not too sure how to describe the differnce, on one listen. It had a lovely piano accompaniment too - which I assume was Gareth playing, though obviously I don't know that for sure

Can't answer that, but its in the video section on the official web site I don't know why the official site hasn't put it up on YouTube yet though. They normally move pretty quickly. I heard Drive too (listening through the Internet). It was gorgeous.

Enrique Iglesias - Do You Know (The Ping Pong Song)
Oh that's quite fun. Thanks

Gareth Gates, it's official, and confirmed
It seems that the plan was always 2 singles before the album, so if the album is due in July as we are hearing, then the next single will also be in July ( I assume). Working back, I guess we will know what it is sometime in May. Maybe that's too long a gap, maybe not. I think it completely depends on the quality and accessibilty of the next single...and whether the TV and radio picks up on it this time. Much as I love Changes, it probably wasnt' the greatest choice in that repect.

Darren Hayes
I really like it. I don't think its the new single though, just a track from the album that isn't out till August.

Thanks for the link. The acoustic versions of Changes and Angel on My Shoulder are fabulous. I have always loved his acoustic sets - though he seemed to do more abroad than in the UK in the past Daft hat though!

The new site is looking great - and more to come. Looking forward to seeing the video for the first time. Its been a long, long wait, but welcome back Gareth.

All we know is April. No definite date yet.

Gareth Gates, it's official, and confirmed
If you have an argument about who should and should not have a forum (which BTW Gareth doesn't have, so it's not even relevant to this thread) surely there are places to take it up, instead of asking ludicrous questions to make a point. Anyway, back to the point - I don't suppose there is any news of an album release date yet is there?

Gareth Gates, it's official, and confirmed
I think he said ' ship - master's house' Not that that helps much :P Excited about this. Roll on April.

I am sure there wont be a single on the 5th Feb. It's far too soon, and I think the date has just come from HMV - who get dates wrong a lot. However, I am pretty excited about this...whenever it is. Those folk who have heard the tracks in full, at the gig, loved them. I think they will be pretty far removed from the 'Say it Isn't So' era. Plus - he's really grown into his looks :P

Poster Girl
Hi I don't know if any of you ever check out this blog - Poster Girl. http://poppostergirl.blogspot.com/ Its by an American who writes about loads of great pop music from Europe, Australia etc. It generally makes for very interesting reading. Anyway, its turns out that her addiction to good music is all down to Darius! Check out this morning's post http://poppostergirl.blogspot.com/2007/01/...ass-you-by.html I've put it up separately as she adds loads and it will soon get lost. Thought you might be interested.

I am sure it will happen eventually. Can't expect 19 to be on top of things - they never have been before!! Ah well. If you are interested, a Korean fan has very cleverly put a couple of the snippets of the new songs on youtube with stills from the programme http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15aTwa1FfFw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U__ZfohQoko

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
From what I gather from people who were there and reports on the various fan sites, this was a tremendous success. 8 well received new songs, 7 of them written by Gareth, looking hot (as ever), speech perfect, and a meet and greet. Can't ask for much more really? If the Universal thing is true - then even better. Roll on the documentary :cheer:

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
Sorry to hear that. Of course :D Thanks Preston for the Sun article. personally I don't want hear about the Jordan stuff - it's so old news, and could justifiably be let drop, though I can understand why the press should still find it interesting. But the rest of the stuff should be great. He was being filmed at the weekend leading the McGuire course

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
The confusion over the documentary date is a pest. Though I am not going to the gig tomorrow, I am in touch with some who are. I am really excited to get their reports. It almost feels real now that he's back!!!!

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
Thanks for the news and the Trevor McDonald clips, which I hadn't seen for ages. It's great to know that Gareth has made so much progress with his speech that he is now instructing ( a course this weekend I think) More excited about hearing some of the music though. It seems a lifetime since we heard anything from him.
