We would love a message, but I personally don't hold out much hope :( I wouldn't expect him to do interviews at the moment. As you yourself said in an earlier post, he has nothing to promote at the moment so it wouldn't make any sense.

As I understand it 19 (presumably in agreement with Gareth) have said no to PA's while he is working on new material- not in official statements, but to organisations that have wanted him to appear. Therefore the information we have tends to be second hand, ie through some of those organisations. As Dot said from her Will experience, 19 tend to say nothing officially and yes, it is frustrating. The very (very) few appearances that he has made have either not been performances (eg charity football) or where he could sing Christmas stuff (eg lights switch ons), or impromptu (on stage with the writers of Sunshine or Judie Tzuke when he was working with them) or abroad (eg China and Brunei).....and there haven't been any appearances at all as far as we know for a fair while. You learn to be patient. :(

Cheers. I heard that interview and though the comment was quick and the conversation moved on it was pretty definite. As you say, Will will have some idea of how 19 are thinking so I feel pretty postive we will be hearing something from Gareth soon.

That'll be Eros Ramazzotti - who has been huge in Italy for years. Tiziano Ferro is another one. Big in Italy, Spain and (I think) France and much of South America, but nothing ever released here, even when he did a duet with Jamelia.

Dear me - what a fuss over the promotion. That's what the record company does - it's their job to promote and 'hype'. I get emails all the time for a range of different artists from a range of different companies. Some artists I like, some I don't, it's no big deal. Though I haven't had a Shayne one.

According to someone on PJ that was involved with the album, "You are not Alone" and "Stand by Me" aren't covers.

I don't think the news was or has been officially released. It leaked from a conversation with BMG as I understand it. I think that Gareth's management will be somewhat hacked off that it happened that way as I am sure that they would have preferred to make a 'Gareth has signed a new deal with......' type of statement. However there have been no denials - and the 19 statement on his web site says 'We understand that fans have been concerned this week regarding Gareth's return. 19 entertainment continue to support and be committed to Gareth who is very happy with the work he has produced over the past year and we are sure that you'll enjoy it too.Thankyou for your patience and continued support'. I think that's pretty much confirmation.

Well we shall just have to wait and see. BTW Gareth and Simon Cowell parted company long ago - well before Shayne became his 'cash cow' - though I would bet that his main 'cash cows' will remain Il Divo for some time to come. :puke2:
