  1. I fear Eliza will eventually be a one hit wonder. Her new song is dire while Pack Up is still enjoyable enough.
  2. The hype over this song exceeds its actual value. I'd say it has what it takes to peak somewhere in the Top 20 but it would be terrible to have this at the top. Considering how bad music tastes have become recently, I wouldn't be surprised to find this tune fighting for the UK throne.
  3. It's surprising how the decent and catchy song namely "Higher" has performed so much worse than the bland "Missing You" even though the latter was highlighting an album.
  4. what is a 'wind up merchant'? I got bored of "All Time Low" completely so it's good the tune is going down.
  5. and a loon style answer :P no offense, buddy, I was just laughing at her fall because as soon as I heard that track I knew it wouldn't be a hit and all the people around were predicting great successes. 2 Top 10 hits, that's about it for Professor Green, Monster doesn't stand a chance even though it's listenable.
  6. Is it just me or this song somehow fails to remain remembered as a Top 10 hit? It's not so bad after all but still, very forgettable.
  7. Speaking of generic music... Should Kylie retire? Now this is a question
  8. This tune is class, I was afraid they might skip it. btw. who's Sinitta? :o
  9. That was not an easy question. I have no clue as I never follow the label infos. Mark Ronson's Bike Song is slightly disappointing for me sounding a bit cheap although I appreciate he insists on remaining original and quite outstanding.
  10. There is nothing like a non-number one number ones, people! There simply are number ones that have long or short longevity. Personally I prefer those that last shorter as they don't get so overplayed. Swedish House Mafia still rule as probably the best track in the top 40, after so much time
  11. Shame they skipped Brandon, good they omitted Iglesias. Lovely as always, Plan B delivers another gem from his latest album. I wish he'd enter much higher than that.
  12. DJ Fresh has been a real breath of fresh air this year in this horrific r&b / urban music universe of 2010. Hopefully he'll keep on spawning hits like "Gold Dust".
  13. Retro favourites: 2009 nothing :o  2005 01. (1) Sugababes - Push The Button 07. (-) Bloc Party - Two More Years 2000 01. (-) All Saints - Black Coffee 03. (-) Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlan - Silence (Remixes) 04. (3) Architechs Featuring Nana - Body Groove 05. (2) Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400
  14. Hi everyone! Such a pleasant number 40, somehow I love this Roll Deep track! And I hate so much number 39 :puke2:

well, luckily Britney hasn't been big for a while now. what she needs now is a 'Bionic' style comeback lol I wish Hurts got more recognition in their home country the way they did in Germany or Poland but I reckon it's rather unlikely.
  16. This year's bestsellers list looks quite scarry, especially the top part of it. I hope at least Paolo Nutini, Florence & The Machine, Mumford & Sons and Plan B all surpass the boring Alicia Keys in the end.

Hallelujah! I hope all the Lady Gaga / Britney Spears / Justin Bieber / Miley Cyrus cheesy crap disappears from the charts in favour of more sophisticated and underground sounds. Another wishful thing is to stop the influence from the terrible American market replacing it by the imports from the continental Europe that has so much more valuable music!
  18. Not at all! It's the best Alexandra Burke release in my opinion. I don't get the hate it's been receiving here when general public seems to love it. Such a joyous and calypso-inspired pop output. Most importantly though it differs from other 'hits of the moment' unlike "Doesn't Mean Anything" by Bruno Mars.
  19. What a bland number one we have after 2 weeks of supremacy by the brilliant Start Without You! Dynamite defends the honours of the terrible Top 3 completed by the awfulness called Teenage Dream...
  20. The number 17 thing was truly awful.
  21. The fact this type of music gets wide appeal nowadays is pathetic in my opinion. I appreciate all these 'X Factor' / 'Must Be The Music' shows for discovering some new stuff and that's how Europe gets something different than the usual rap/r&b imports from the USA
  22. This tune is still gorgeous!
  23. I hate this crap nearly as much as I hate its carbon copy - Love The Way You Lie Both are vile but still sell bucketloads. Pathetic.
  24. Hero is such a $h!te :puke2: how could it have sold that much??? scandal
  25. This sounds like a better version of Bad Romance
