Hi all, I usually like new songs making the Top 40 but this one is really uninteresting so fair enough it didn't climb higher.

Post-album in this case would be what? 2-3 weeks after its release? Come on, we can't compare it with "Midnight Memories" or "You & I". "Gotta Be You" and "Little Things" would be valid comparisons.

Maybe they prefer to sell the album rather than just this track. From this perspective it's better to showcase as many songs from the record as possible rather than focus on a single that might sound boring to many people. Had the song had a big selling power, it would have gone straight to the Top 10.

No, I love Christmas but without listening to the same songs all over again. They're not part of MY Christmas season, they just spoil it. :P

A very interesting battle that was! Luckily Taylor Swift is its big loser, thank God she's not on streaming (even though she wouldn't have topped the chart even with streams). Union J's artificially boosted #2 is a big surprise but it will be funnier to look where they land next week (out of the Top 10 is a given, right?). I love big falls! Besides, the song is so simple and dumb that it deserves to plummet. From the new entries, Ella Henderson with her sleep-inducing boredom is definitely too high meanwhile the stunning new Ed Sheeran's song should have swapped places with her as it's easily his best effort this year (miles better than the actual #1 whiny single). Great entry from Blonde as well. A big no to all the Christmas songs though. :/

I don't like this Bring Me The Horizon song at all but am glad such a different sound from the usual pop rubbish is at the top, especially that it pushed Blank Shite down. Now here's hoping that the utterly vile Echosmith track doesn't follow suit next week.
