+1 I was wondering about the same thing actually.

What an awful Top 3 in singles... I may not be the biggest hater of All About That Bass (it's somehow bearable) but #2 and #3 are just :puke: I don't like when females take the top spots, especially the Americans :(

It's nice of them to play some Alt-J, much higher quality as always on the albums chart compared to singles.

Except from Bang Bang and Shake It Off, the Top 8 is quite decent by recent poor standards. This Sam Smith single is not the best thing ever but it's growing on me more with each listen.

Oooh, now that is unexpected! They have this version :o Perhaps even more surprising, it sounds much better than the original !!!

Really? I must have missed those chart shows. I think I remember the week of When Love Takes Over and don't truly recall them playing the fake.

Of course Power Music Workout will be skipped. They've never played a fake version as I suppose these versions aren't even sent to radios.

I'm surprised this song is so successful. It sounds like a typical Maroon 5 song output, just that it doesn't really stand out. And here comes the more tiring Ed Sheeran effort this year (well, One was also tough to survive)...

Don't is Ed's best song on the chart for sure. Regarding All Of Me, although it's terribly overplayed, I still don't mind it as much as I did with Happy or the screech-fest Let It Go.
