  1. I think #1, I want: hmmm, let's say Top 30. Surely one of the weirdest songs ever to go Top 10 but I find it ridiculously funny.

    rarely
  3. Who's buying this rubbish from will.i.am? :o Normally I love high turnovers at the top but in this case Clean Bandit has to stay at number 1 for the second week!
  4. Because it's high on pre-orders, has a prominent guest vocalist who's provided quite a lot of successful hits, has millions of views on YouTube and it's been kept for a long time to build hype around it.

43 Chris Malinchak – If U Got It 01 Gorgon City ft. MNEK - Ready For Your Love 06 Katy B – Crying For No Reason 13 Will.i.am ft. Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana & DJ Mustard - Feelin' Myself
  6. Hopefully never! Is there any particular reason why a one year old Half Moon Ride's track is suddenly charting so high now? Anyone?
  7. It might have a shot at number 1 unfortunately :( I voted Top 3 hoping there will be something to block it from grabbing the top spot. In the second poll, I chose flop because I'd love overhyped generic songs to disappoint on each occasion. This song still somehow manages to be slightly better than the horrific Clarity!
  8. a stupid song, it might go close to Top 5 though, number 6 I reckon.

I don't mind her but preferred Reggie, besides he's so cute :P

  11. If someone wants to own a particular song and only that song without buying an album, he will do it anyway, legally or not. Record labels know that well and prefer getting money from that song instead of losing it. They are aware they wouldn't force anybody to buy the whole album...

Well, I don't have a car to begin with hehe. I'm much more into alternative and underground music to be nostalgic about some random mainstream old hits.

Recently I haven't had time for shopping in music stores and I admit to having not much more storage for physical albums but I would definitely buy some new stuff when on a good price offer. On the other hand I would NEVER buy a compilation album, especially something containing big hits like Now, I wholeheartedly hate this rubbish taking up room in music shops. I mean, why would you pay for a collection of songs you can hear practically everywhere almost each day? Buying albums means discovering music to me hence I love bringing with me some local stuff while I'm on the road in some exotic countries.
  14. It's a scandal. Blurred Lines is utter crap!
  15. None of the three candidates deserves this number 1 spot. Calvin Harris has a generic and uninspired track, 1D's song is childish and they have had their fair share of success in the albums chart while Lily Allen bores me to death with her dire rendition of a great Keane classic.
  16. oh dear, that's country music! truly cringeworthy... I predict #43.

Very forgettable and unoriginal so I'm voting for #5
  18. I didn't even know that "Hurt" wasn't Johnny Cash's own song :o

#13 in my opinion but hopefully lower.
  20. How can we be predicting anything without listening to the actual song? Chart life isn't based on artists' names but on the music that is behind them. Beyoncé might get an immediate number one or even flop, depending on what she releases and how people judge it.

    #9, I reckon

I hope it misses the Top 10 even though it's very unlikely. Personally I hate this kind of teen cheesy pop flavoured with the awful country influence.

Dreadful song, Top 30 at most, I reckon.

With all respect but this thread has a very week point. A number 1 is not a song that will be remembered forever as massive (especially as it's too subjective to state which song is memorable and which one is not) but the one that sold the most copies in a certain period of time. There's nothing like a non-Number 1 in relation to singles that actually did reach the top!
