  1. That is very subjective what is unmemorable and what is not. Dominick The Donkey will definitely be memorable for me for instance :D
  2. I know but the name you gave to them is a bit contradictory :P
  3. Non-#1s? They were all proper #1s! Their chart life was short though hence they duly don't appear in the year end Top 100.
  4. Just like I wrote in another thread I purchased the following ones KASABIAN - Velociraptor! FRANZ FERDINAND - Tonight (Deluxe Edition) THE RACONTEURS - Consolers Of The Lonely For Christmas gifts I got MADONNA - I'm Going To Tell You A Secret AEROSMITH - The Very Best Of
  5. I bought today KASABIAN - Velociraptor! FRANZ FERDINAND - Tonight (Deluxe Edition) THE RACONTEURS - Consolers Of The Lonely
  6. If you take peaks into account, even Swagger Jagger will be a smash hit, just like you noticed. The "Hit" tag can only be added based on a chart performance, longevity, long term chart run and, above all, overall sales. Of course peaks are also important but they can't determine a song becoming a hit. Besides your list looks like a wikipedia source including countries that don't even have official singles charts (Poland, Slovakia) and those that have multiple charts (Belgium, Japan). Not that I hate the song (I wasn't even bothered to listen to it properly to be honest), I just expressed my opinion about the list's accuracy.
  7. Actually it was a flop almost everywhere, a very short runner in places where it managed to chart high. Anyway, I chose 2 songs of Adele and Olly Murs.
  8. Coldplay for me
  9. Florence and The Machine
  10. Unsurprisingly "21" for the win
  11. It's meant to be about the best, not the worst ones!  Example for me.
  12. Surely Muse!

How many weeks has Adele now been at the chart throne in albums? :o Absolutely incredible, I was sure Kasabian would get there...

    None in my opinion.
  15. Spears - Born to make you happy :puke:
  16. Survivor closely followed by Pure & Simple and Teenage Dirtbag
  17. Because it's an utter dross? ^_^ Miley Cyrus? Oh, please. It's embarrassing to even talk about her...
  18. I hate this song. Nowadays there's hardly anything good that can sell well, sadly.

I loooooove "Babycakes" and "Be Faithful"! but I have to admit that novelty hits are usually my guilty pleasures :D

The competition would probably include: Usher - Burn Black Eyed Peas - The Time Timbaland/Furtado/Timberlake - Give It To Me Nelly ft. Tim McGraw - Over And Over Lady Gaga ft. Beyoncé - Telephone
  21. Physicals for both. I don't like paying for products that I can't touch.

I never said that this album had no artistic value. I said her music is bubble-gum, primitive pop. I based it on the singles, fair enough. It's obvious that my opinion is not a fact. This thread is all about opinions though, not facts! To be honest, forums in general are for people to express their opinions, aren't they? I expressed mine and no-one asked you to interact with me. You can agree or not. In the second case, feel free to post your opposite opinion but stop telling me what to do or what to think. Having said that, you should really get over it, not me. For me her dumb dancey singalongs are classified as chav music which is why I don't want her to sell a lot, full stop.

You're right, I'm not from the UK and I may not fully understand the meaning of a chav although I was already explained it here, on this site. If I used the wrong word, sorry. What I meant to say is people who don't listen to music for its quality but for the fuss and buzz around it. Simply because it's it's trendy and all around on the media, but most of all because it comes from America, which is absolutely ridiculous. Of course I haven't listened to the album, it didn't even come out as far as I know. I haven't even listened to her first album in full. The singles are enough for me to say it's not my cup of tea. Cheap, catchy bubble-gum pop, that's it. No artistic value whatsoever.
