have lily allen and alesha actually released there singles yet? seems a bit frustrating that there songs are quite high the charts in a few countries if they arent physically released.

im suprised its not a bit higher up the itunes chart as its played a lot on the radio. I guess sales might pick up when its release date happens. Maybe they'll perform this at the brits

I love Halo, i hope it climbs up the chart fast., Its a much better song then IIWAB so i hope it lasts just as long as that did in the charts. Really pleased Alesha is back up to 3, i hope she can stay there for the next two days and is no.3 in the official charts. so suprised at how well "tshirt" is doing for shontelle, shes started doing some promo now so that should get the song into the top 5 i think,

possibly. But hes no. 2 on 7 digital http://www.7digital.com/charts/track whereas she is number 10. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

boo to eminem! Looks like Alesha will remain at no. 5 this week. I was hoping she'd overtake eminem by sunday but it looks like hes going to sell a lot more as radio airplay is just starting to kick in too.

i like it but i really want kelly clarkson to get to number one. I love kellys new song. I guess the sats deserve it more since its a song for comic relief.

I think its because on the weekend people like to buy all the dancey type songs. Up, the promise, The boy does nothing, dance wiv me and single ladies all climbed a little at the weekend last week so it seems like people buy party type songs at the weekend. Maybe its after a friday/saturday night in the clubs and bars.

i think it also depends on the record label. some major record labels may spend more on a certain artists then other low profile record labels that dont have much money to offer and therefore the bigger companies need more money back to break even. Also if a band or solo artist is writing/producing there own music like Take That or coldplay they wont have to cover costs to the writers etc.. whereas someone that has high profile writes/producers writing all there songs etc.. might mean the record label have to give more money away to other sources.

Aleshas got some promotion on this morning and bbc breakfast lined up tomorrow and on thursday so she should be able to overtake Tinchy i think.
