how weird, it does seem a bit like itunes are going back in time there!

amazing for eminem, ive never even heard that song on the radio so impressive that its climbing so high. Yay for alesha getting a new peak.

I think its because on the weekend people like to buy all the dancey type songs. Up, the promise, The boy does nothing, dance wiv me and single ladies all climbed a little at the weekend last week so it seems like people buy party type songs at the weekend. Maybe its after a friday/saturday night in the clubs and bars.

im so confused about kid kudi still being number 4 as hes quite low down on the itunes chart. Day n night must be selling a lot either physically or on other download sites.

im pleased katy perry is finally on there. I wonder if take that will get another no/ 1hit now they're getting more air play with up all night.

daniel m is still rising. i wonder when change will eventually peak. maybe top 3?

i think it also depends on the record label. some major record labels may spend more on a certain artists then other low profile record labels that dont have much money to offer and therefore the bigger companies need more money back to break even. Also if a band or solo artist is writing/producing there own music like Take That or coldplay they wont have to cover costs to the writers etc.. whereas someone that has high profile writes/producers writing all there songs etc.. might mean the record label have to give more money away to other sources.

i like the majority of people in the top 20 so im kinda excited. However i do think it would be great if one week there was a major battle to number one between 2 artists where there was only say 2 or 3k seperating them. Now that would be exciting.

Aleshas got some promotion on this morning and bbc breakfast lined up tomorrow and on thursday so she should be able to overtake Tinchy i think.

just curious how many weeks has "use somebody" and "broken strings" been in the top 1 for? IT seems like they both been there for months.

i really want hot n cold to die a long death now but its never going to happen when folk like doi use it as well. Gotta admire Katy Perry for doing so well with it though. I really want Circus to climb into the top 10 soon. Hopefully next week it'll manage.

i dont mind daniel merrywether being top 10 just as long as he doesnt knock beyonce or Alesha out! Hopefully he wont go anywhere near lilys no. 1 either!

the thing with hot n cold is because they used it on dancing on ice this week it'll probably stay around for even longer this week. Thinking of you will no way be as popular as i kissed a girl and hot n cold has been for katy.
