I adore Sugar, her tone and vibrato on the chorus’s belts are incredible, it really fits right into the strongest part of her voice.

You mention budget, do artists pay to do promo slots on shows like X Factor? I always thought the artist gets paid to appear.

I agree, Glassheart’s promo (and even sales) wasn’t bad considering A) the choice of singles, and B) the 3 year wait and delays. Leona’s visibility in 2018 has been relatively great, so I’m feeling confident in the next era.
  4. Does anyone know CWL’s total sales now? Think it was 122K before December started, any change?
  5. I’ve had a concept in my mind for a music app that would combine sales and streams by a very similar method to what you say, we should talk :P

Thanks for this, so is Favourite Scar her least streamed song including all collabs, remixes etc? What about B sides?
  7. Christmas week post-release positions for One More Sleep: 2014 #56 Radio, #40 TV 2015 #26 TV, not top 50 in radio 2016 #33 TV, not top 50 in radio can't find 2017's Ridiculous how radio's been completely snubbing OMS, thankfully things changed this year and should continue to.
  8. It would be nice to wrap this up with some Spotify weekly chart positions (week of 20th - 27th) for comparison next year, here are some noteworthy mentions: UK #18 (2.4mil streams) Ireland #26 (180K streams) Hungary #51 (38K streams) Switzerland #75 (77K streams) Belgium #89 (77K streams) Canada #92 (420K streams) Australia #113 (341K streams) Global #117 (7.2mil streams) Japan #119 (63K streams)
  9. Hopefully with its incredible success this year Radio 1 can’t get away with ignoring it as much next year, but they probably will.
  10. Actually it peaked position-wise on the 17th and stream-wise on the 25th. I think the fact its about Xmas eve hinders its Christmas day surge (it doesn’t see the % increase in streams that other Xmas songs do), but it certainly didn’t affect its overall performance, streams or itunes downloads throughout December.
  11. +5 Leona Lewis: One More Sleep +4 Ava Max: Sweet But Psycho +3 Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas is You +2 Michael Buble: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas +1 Ariana Grande: Thank U, Next -1 Band Aid: Do They Know It's Christmas? -2 Wham!: Last Christmas -3 Shakin' Stevens: Merry Christmas Everyone -4 Elton John: Step Into Christmas -5 The Pogues feat. Kirsty MacColl: Fairytale of New York
  12. The airplay still doesn't reflect its popularity though, it climbed significantly during 21-25th Dec on every platform but didn't climb a single position on the airplay chart. I doubt people are gonna turn off the radio because One More Sleep is playing on the 23rd.
  13. Not only that but it sold more this year than 2014-2017 combined: 2014 ~30K, 2015 ~30K, 2016 45K, 2017 95K, 2018 205K (pes’ post)
  14. Surprised Leona didn’t climb on radio, it’s frustrating to see her still getting relatively little radio support compared to her sales/streams. Great achievement on TV though.
  15. ACR applies in Ireland too (Irish chart rules are here), so two weeks in the top 50 is still fantastic considering she only peaked at 19 even in year of release, and didn't chart at all in 2014-2016. Amazing that it's officially #8 when many of us thought it would struggle to make top 20 or even top 40. I hope her team/label are closely watching! This means that Leona officially has a top 10 hit in 2019 :cheer: Her first time in the top 10 for 5 years. #7 Streaming, #26 Sales.
  16. OMS charts at #41 (+9) in Ireland. Doesn't quite beat its post-release peak, but it's spent two weeks in the top 50 this year compared to one week last year, and not making it all in 2014-2016's top 100. OMS chart run in Ireland: 2013: [25-19-28] 2014-2016: didn't chart. 2017: [98-70-67-33] 2018: [64-50-41] OMS is also #69 on UK Apple Music today.
  17. It was once upon a time, it relaunched in 2012 as a legitimate streaming platform.
  18. That's fantastic, would be amazing if she stayed top 10. OMS also did very well on Apple Music yesterday considering it was Boxing Day: UK: #16 (-5) Germany: #35 (-16) Ireland: #39 (-16) Switzerland: #47 (-31) #46 on UK Spotify and #96 on Ireland Spotify. Also #51 (-41) on Deezer, and noticed it's #4 on Napster for this week (Mariah is #8).
  19. And by God’s grace we’ll never see it again B-)
  20. No doubt her duet with Calum Scott gave her higher visibility globally this year compared to last year too, it's still in the Canadian charts and creeps up in US iTunes every little while, and is still doing well overall on Spotify and iTunes across Europe/Asia.
  21. I’m surprised Santa Tell Me dropped though, considering it’s high up on all the playlists, and track 1 on the second biggest playlist.
  22. But Leona’s been constistently higher (and by quite a large margin) than Kelly every day this month. For the past 3 years, One More Sleep hasn’t seen the same surges on Christmas day as other Christmas classics, no doubt because it’s about Christmas eve.
  23. Some Apple Music positions: UK #11 Switzerland #16 Germany #19 (Winter Wonderland #65) Ireland #23 Austria #46 (Winter Wonderland #89) Hungary #94 Also OMS is at #10 (-1) on Deezer today, so that’s two days spent in the top 10 on Deezer.
  24. Thanks! Great to see it top 10 on two streaming platforms.
  25. Ah I don’t have Apple Music so I can only see Kworb’s, which puts it at 16 and 69. Is that 10 combined or can you see a second version too?
