  1. Soon the remixes are coming and it'll change EVERYTHING.
  2. @1677646184926543872 Something's afoot?
  3. So, if I approach Britney from behind, tap her on her shoulder and her security smacks my hand away in a way that makes me hit myself in the face, no one is allowed to point out that it's not a good idea to approach celebrities like that?
  4. To be fair, I don't think it's a smart idea to approach a celebrity from behind and I don't actually think the security *meant* to hit her. To me it looks more like an unfortunate accident, and yeah, the security could've been less forceful with removing the hand (leading to Britney being hit). The reactions are a tad OTT though; if this had been a random person you know more people would've pointed out that you don't approach celebrities like that.

Eh, I guess, but on the other hand I'm just afraid they'll end up like M.O. and end up releasing endless EPs and "buzz singles" only to eventually peter out without releasing an album. It's hard to get around the fact that they threw everything at Fly Girl to make it a hit and it reached #37 and then out.
  6. Meh, where's the Almighty remix?
  7. Close numbers - she shouldn't end up lower than 13 at least, but would have trouble going higher than 9.
  8. So many hits, so little time :drama:
  9. True - I have no idea why they didn't just rename the song into something like The Way Love's Supposed To Be or something, or maybe they thought the similar titles would help?! But from memory This Is The Way got next to no airplay, so it just seems like radio stations saw This Is It as a one-off unfortunately.
  10. Yeah, I think out of everything she had on hand at that moment, This Is The Way is probably the most logical follow up - I certainly think it deserved a stronger chart run than 27-38-63-OUT.
  11. Lately, Too Far Gone and Electric babe x

As great as it is to have new music from them, I can't help to worry that this is a sign that they have no idea of what to do with them after their obvious shot at a chart hit failed.
  13. It's more like you getting old. I rarely pay attention to new hits either until I accidentally hear them on my local radio station (which seems about six months behind most of the time).
  14. They've mostly dealt with catalog releases so far from what I can tell, so Claire is seemingly among their first "current" artists/releases they're handling. I don't doubt that they've seen the success BMG has had with handling legacy acts and saw a gap in the market - I think this is good news overall for all of those older artists that aren't doing well on streaming that more labels are noticing that there's money to be made from physical releases.

They did Shola Ama's Imagine?! :o That's a random one I'd never, uh, imagine.
  16. I think people are a bit naive to think that Musk is just randomly implementing these ideas - look at how fast other sites started restricting their APIs once Twitter did and how sites like Instagram started talking about doing pay options like Twitter Blue; the truth is that Musk is probably just picking up on ideas that have been floated for quite a while within the upper echelons of these companies, he's just the first to pull the trigger. I think people need to remember that some of these sites aren't that profitable per user (Reddit being the infamous example of a massive amount of user, but with low profitability on each).
  17. Interesting that Demon Music is involved with this considering they released the Appleton re-issue! I guess they've seen a profitable market with physical releases for artists with fanbases; I'm guessing they're looking to establish themselves as a competitor to BMG, which is nice to see.
  18. LOL, great idea to limit networking on a social media website. This'll go down well :kink: Oh well, hopefully Twitter (along with Facebook, Instagram and all centralised websites) die and the net goes back to being more dispersed.
  19. Not surprised since they threw everything at it in the first week, with no plans for the second. At least it re-entered Spotify at #190, even if it'll fall out due to the weekend effect it'll hopefully start making progress early next week.

It's also nice how they've seemingly rehearsed enough to be able to keep a somewhat dynamic setlist since they were able to drop in Run For Cover like that. I hope they can keep changing it up for their festival performances, especially as they keep preparing for the O2.

beGPXpBWigk 1:50 and is still trying to catch in on her catch phrase from two decades ago. Clear attempt to get a TikTok "hit".

SYLZmfI9y5U It'll be interesting to see how this performs. She does love her talky middle-8s though.

Interesting! Understandable that they're going to make the O2 show "general public" friendly as it'll surely be a decent press coverage for them, but good to know they're going to dig out some gems from the back catalog.
  25. I'm always impressed with how these people don't sweat. I feel like I'm constantly going around with pit stains in this humidity.
