  1. Loaded in my OG Neon Nights cd - 58.46 minutes it claims to be. According to ShittyPedia it's supposed to be 56:42. Who will be right, who will be wrong?
  2. "A few bonuses" = 10 tracks? I'll go for the OG album then. I have the 2007 deluxe too.
  3. we like lists x
  4. What version is going to play? I don't have the 20th right now so I might have to resort to the earlier deluxe version.
  5. so should we use "flöörp" instead aye :arrr:
  6. she don,t need fanbuys, she a hit x
  7. Kylie staying steady on Spotify is amazing since she usually falls on the weekend! It means that it's starting to show up on people's weekend lists, so it's up and go from here.
  8. I never thought this would be an instant smash and as I said - I always predicted top 20, top 15 at best for this in week one. I think it'll grow though and ultimately do better than Boyz.
  9. lol exactly. I think they'd be stupid to do a "featuring" remix at this point tbh as it would take a bit away from the whole "she did it by herself" thing that's going on right now.
  10. Exactly - it still seems to be on the climb in various countries on Apple Music / iTunes; I imagine it's growing on Spotify, but is still too weak to properly show up there. I do think a European promo tour would be ideal and hit up some key markets - ie Germany, France, Spain, Italy and at least one of the Scandinavian countries. If they could line up their ducks in a row, this could be done in a week or two.
  11. I can see why they went with Chocolate to be honest - they'd already done two uptempo singles and probably wanted to show off a different side to the album, so it made sense, especially since the first two singles didn't shift the quantities of the album they expected.
  12. Oh yeah, I think it might be a mistake to throw everything and the ktichen sink at it the first week, but I do think it'll stay around longer than BOYZ did either way. We'll see.
  13. First week isn't everything.
  14. I mean, there were talks in August 2004 about her recording new material: https://web.archive.org/web/20160919092516/...08081FJ2QC1JTLH I think it was a panic release. I sort of remember how nervous everyone seemed about how Chocolate would do and while the peak position (#6) doesn't look terrible, it bombed to #18 in the second week and did very little for the album. I assume they put Kylie back in the studio when it was obvious that Chocolate wasn't going to turn her fortunes around and the tracks that came out just wouldn't fit into a Body Language re-release.
  15. I'd assume Sam's record company might push to keep it under the carpet as another flop is not a good look. :P
  16. I assume there might've either been a thought that they'd release the same song as the chart battle or they thought that they could use it as album filler? Obviously neither happened.
  17. Because it didn't do as well as they expected it to. While the chart positions might look good today, I remember a lot of nervousness around of Chocolate would perform. I also don't think it helped the album much to justify further singles. I'm sure Jay has a more indepth analysis.
  18. Yes, the second single is supposed to pick up with her rising up from the water.
  19. It would've been an interesting scenario for sure - I do think Tell Me is a good song, but I just don't like launching the era with a "bitter ex" song. I think it's more suitable for when people have already bought into someone as an artist. The fact that Feels So Good did so well after the album flopped makes me think it could've done better as the lead single.
  20. Yeah, Padam Padam has clearly taken a life on its own, but I'm not expecting it to sustain to her next releases. Even artists that are "relevant" have issues with having several hits across an album, so I'm not expecting much and just enjoying this moment of Kylie being relevant beyond her dedicated fanbase. It would be nice if the support Padam Padam has could at least get single #2 into the top 30.
  21. Considering how old the forum software is, I think those suspensions would be for sitewide. More modern versions of these sort of forums software will allow you to ban users from subforums and even down to specific threads.
  22. Wow not me being right about there being a re-release when everyone doubted it would happen, file this under "no one listens to tommie when they should listen to tommie" x
