  1. She's on her own label so the only one who would be doing the derailing is the woman herself.
  2. Okay, say what you will about the Daily Hate Mail, but they are experts at trolling with their image choices: As an aside, it's a fairly pointless article because: 1) We don't know what her and her managements expectations are for this single 2) It's still early days, though I do think it's fairly unlikely to make any further impact 3) ... if she fails to reach those expectations, what is she going to do? Drop herself?
  3. It's ok - obviously very demo but very much ground she's covered before; I can see why it was passed over if they wanted some more diversity to the album (but I think part of the issue is that they never really decided where they were going with that album in the first place).

I mean, I sort of admire his honesty about not performing much from the new album because it didn't do that well and he probably realised he needed to put on a show that would keep people buzzing for his next one... BUT, those cover versions are just weird? Like, I could see the sense of doing a mash-up of one of the new tracks and We Found Love to keep the show going (as an example), but just randomly sticking it in there seems... weird. It's not like that was some "defining" moment in his X-Factor run or something... same with Sweet Caroline (though I guess that one is for his mom audience).
  5. So, she's sent out a mailer about the possiblity of "hearing the album early" if you're in Los Angeles, New York or Nashville... yet we don't even have a title? I hope there's not more record company f***ery ahead because it almost seems like something she'd arrange for herself and try to force their hand...
  6. I mean, I'm pretty sure any act releasing a greatest hits these days will have an eye for what gets streamed and what doesn't as the whole point would be to essentially create a Spotify list that gets streamed (aka "trickle sales"). And wow, I didn't realise their last "real" greatest hits was in 2000! (I don't really count Texas 25) :o

Or you know, due to how many autistic peeps tend to have special interests and how they end up masking. But what do I know! There's, for some reason, a record amount of "trans people" these days. Have no idea why! :yahoo:
  8. Do listen to the remixes too - Felix Da Housecat is such a thrill.

Nowhere did I say this. I said "trans kids" are a newly created phenomena and should probably be checked for autism. Actually, anyone who is trans should be checked.

lmao is it worse than those "1%" studies, or are those absolute facts?

Is this the definition of cope Finally you have something tangible about "trans kids" and it just doesn't go your way. Love that for you.

@1648591418166738946 Maybe those horrible "transphobes" had a point about it being a bad idea to give puberty blockers to mostly autistic children? Hey, maybe...

  14. Love her and love that she's getting more comfortable rather than being forced into something she's not. Promising for the Eurovision performance.
  15. This makes me so happy: U4QMaYEWw8Y
  16. Siobhan said she felt left out and bullied. They've later talked about how the "management" would unfortunately pit them against each other. She also talked about how she and Mutya would get drunk and Keisha would just roll her eyes. Heidi kicked Keisha out - there's no way around it. She and Amelle pretended to break up the group and then "reformed" with Jade. Heidi dug her grave.
  17. ¨ Unlike CHARLOTTE SPAGHETTI Loreen can CAPTIVATE an audience by here mere presence!
  18. our dance feature Queen of helping out struggling artists unlike Heidi
  19. I remember loving that one back in the day - in all honesty this era of remixes was the best.
  20. it,s because itunes is out of stock already x
  21. I've heard similar before - that they basically had to arrange everything around Flatline themselves, so it's amazing that they got it out at all under those circumstances to be honest. I'd assume if they do ever sign to a label again there'll be "get-out" clauses + plus ownage of masters so they won't be able to pull stunts like that again.
  22. No surprises there, but good to have it confirmed. I hope the rumours are true that a label want them to release a single by the end of the year.
  23. I think it's also down to the fast they appealed to such a young audience and a lot can change within even a year about their tastes - I know how quickly I went off "pop" and into "cool" groups like, errr, No Doubt back then.
  24. Honestly, Calling going to #7 in December wasn't as much of a disaster as it doing nothing for the albums chart sales. If anything that killed the project dead and made them not go for Circles as a fourth single. Also, I feel like having a first single that gets scrapped and never released isn't that unusual. I guess it has to do with the overall campaign strategy changing.
