  1. She was going down a more R&B/hip-hop route and that's why they rejected it. With that said, we don't know if SOS would've performed as well for her as it did for Rihanna. "Say I" actually did well (top 5), but the album "So Amazin'" bombed and further singles were shelved. Overall, they seemed to abandon her albums way too fast in the UK despite her having hits off them. There was no reason why Christina Milian or It's About Time couldn't have been mined for more singles. With that said, what really seemed to kill her career is that she signed to that failed MySpace label which kept her tied up for years and then Young Money which did nothing for her.
  2. It's not a bad picture of her as such, but the position of the text and herself on the single cover doesn't look great. It all looks very off center and not in a conscious design decision kind-of-way. Not that it matters anyway as it's all digital/streaming these days.
  3. She would've sounded exactly like on record - she's just that flawless x
  4. It doesn't help that their MIA at the moment preparing for the summer shows.
  5. I mean, it's a bit silly that regular single/album versions probably are being counted towards Finally Enough Love and not just the actual versions presented on the album.
  6. Gerita would've put on a great show - unlike Emma who would've mimed behind a Christmas tree (that happened, oh yes)
  7. Heard it on the radio this morning V. impressed that UK can write a song, disgusting FLOPS as they all tend to be
  8. Vanity Vain strikes me as a liar who lies.
  9. omg Christer Lindarw actually have one of Sweden's biggest penises
  10. flop averted x
  11. I'm sure that the restructure of the label had something to do with it, but normally you'd just transfer a fairly successful artist to another (sub-)label if they saw potential in them.
  12. Oh I agree - something clearly went down backstage and for some reason no other record label wanted to touch her with a barge pole after that. She was plenty marketable during the entire 00s but for whatever reason nothing else happened.
  13. She got branded as being "difficult". If that was right or wrong is another thing, but she didn't give off the best impression to me when she did that Harvey Goldsmith show "Get Your Act Together".
  14. It's a shame really that she won't put out new actual music, because I feel that in this market she'd likely get a top ten album if she went all out with physicals. Considering how many times she's now milked Neon Nights (2007, 2018), the fact that she can sell out 1000+ so fast on pre-orders is a good sign.
  15. There's Something About Gerita is one of my favourite mid-00s pop artifacts along with Totally Scott-Lee.
  16. Makes sense - doesn't make sense to pay Initial Talk to do a remix and then not try to do something more with it.
  17. Officially first top 40 hit for them: 38 8,707 FLO feat. Missy Elliott - Fly Girl

The original versions of her solo hits will be on it, so those reworked versions are essentially just bonuses.

  20. She probably would've had more success if she went with the original Disco Sister idea, but then again everything was just a mess with Passion.
  21. ^ She just says that there's no newly recorded music about to come out and doesn't exactly deny there's no re-release in the pipeline.
  22. I'm talking about the CDx7 release. The Sebastian Krieg remix is on CD6 (Come and Get It). It Won't Work Out is track 14 on the Neon Nights disc and appears to be the normal album version.
  23. The Sebastian Krieg remix (which was the hidden track) is on the Come and Get It cd single. I assume it's the album mix of It Won't Work Out that's track 14 (the Ross Collum mix aka the single edit is on the C&GI single).
  24. I assume it's the same medley she did during a bunch of performances - Put The Needle On It / I Begin To Wonder / Who Do You Love Now? fUtxSZZ84Ig CCPb0ReuhDY
