  1. 49 NEW Sugababes - Back in the Day (Apple Music Home Session)
  2. Oh this is my attitude to everything: But in all honestly, I'm kind of pleased with how "relaxed" everything feels - back in the day (pun intended), it seemed like album promo cycles were so life and death and if they failed they would get dropped and it would all be over. This all is very relaxed, they're making good money and promoting The Lost Tapes here and there. Takes the stress off, you know.
  3. only heather small of m people is more popular x
  4. 8vTTlU5pq8U Sort of funny seeing them on such a small stage! Let's go to the mall, today.

They obviously tried to push her into the Lady Gaga mold with Remedy and it didn't quite work because she clearly wasn't that type of flashy pop star - I think the low-key thing she's currently doing is much more flattering to her talents to be honest. I guess she could stand some more success to make it all more viable - is she still doing the ABBA shows?

Libianca, she was on The Voice US and seems like a rare contestant who got a hit: rJWdfDPZ9Ck

Yay  I've always said that while I'm not interested in having them re-record material, something like Apple Music Sessions is lovely. I'll admit I had never heard of People before. It's lovely.
  8. FFS, sugababesofficial.com is now broken. I get that no one really uses websites anymore and it's all social media, but come on. First them losing Sugababes.com due to failing a payment (and it turning into a website for "adult dating") and now this. https://sugababes.tmstor.es/ still work so it might just be a temporary certification error.
  9. She smugly brings it up every Christmas dinner, while Kylie seethes waiting for those extra streaming points to push "Slow" to Silver x
  10. If we're talking 00s TRASH I really love Brigitte Nielsen's (AKA Gitta for the release) No More Turning Back: hJfRcJeWCFc There was another absurd UK television performance that floated around featuring her giving a lap dance to some man in his 80s. :D
  11. The backing dancers
  12. No x Stop is the flop single to end all flop singles, in fact I think they should pull it from all streaming services to forget about the embarrassment xoxo
  13. Yeah, it was kind of funny first hearing her dancing around the topic, only to ask when the podcast was being released before talking about it (it was recorded after their National Lottery NYE show performance, so I guess November / December). Nothing new really - the Glastonbury gig really seems to have opened the floodgates for them, especially it having to be closed off since nobody really expected that much interest in them. The other thing I noticed was when she talked about her first pregnancy, which was around 2016/17, she really talks like she was completely away from the industry (and decorating nurseries - despite no experience in interior decorating!). It just goes to show you how dangerously close they must've been for a while to call it quits, which is understandable. I'm glad they pushed through, but it must've been frustrating.
  14. I feel like Get Together belongs on an EP with Kylie's Love At First Sight, Wow and Get Outta My Way.
  15. Nice to hear that she's appreciative of her solo music and doesn't regard it as a "failure" - she seemed pretty bummed when Ghosts bombed, which of course led to her exit from the music industry. Miles Leonard (former Parlophone exec that signed her) apparently texted her during co-vid about having to stop the car when it came on to listen through it in its entirety, so it's not forgotten at least.
  16. Siobhan is immune to botox
  17. https://open.spotify.com/episode/3rYW07gxEp...a10rtg&nd=1 Enjoy! Seems rare we get anything solo from her these days.
  18. The latest actual sales for NN are 107k (2018), in 2009 it was actually just over 100k (101k), so the constant reissues helped. I think pre-X-Factor reissues it was just under 100k.
  19. Right - I think the 200k number comes from her old webmaster who definitively blew up figures - I remember her old site claiming that her remix album Love and Kisses and... had sold 60k! I also remember him giving a 120k number for Neon Nights when it was actually under 100k for the longest while.
  20. It's gotten 187k views on YouTube in three days. Should've gone with an Almighty club mix, flop x
  21. I remember when Slow was released about how it was the lowest selling number one single at that point - probably not entirely true, but of course a lot of that was down to the physical singles market starting to crash.
  22. I prefer the original I Begin To Wonder to I Begin To Spin, which is nice and all, but not essential. Don't Wanna Loose This Groove actually takes a track that's nice and heightens it. I'm not sure if it would've gotten all the way to #5 without that remix.

Yup, and they downgraded again for the Change tour, making me think the GH arena tour didn't do quite as well as they'd hope. Maybe if Mutya had stayed on, 2.0 would've done arenas more consistently, but as has been said - their selling point is mainly their vocals and not the razzle-dazzle. The only way for them to start doing arena tours is if the demand becomes too big like it got with Adele.
  24. Yeah, she's not going to go and promote an album that wasn't even officially released in the UK initially that features a #6 "hit" single. Getting a Mighty Hoopla slot is a major feat for her, but that's about as big as it's going to get. Maybe she'll do a few interviews for stuff like Retro Pop Magazine and Attitude (is that still a thing?). And let's be honest here - it's not as if Never Or Now is some sort of lost classic - it sounds like they eventually just tossed together the tracks she recorded to make a bit of money back. There's some decent tracks on there, but it's not a cohesive piece of work.
