  1. They're very popular in Brazil I hear x
  2. We need a poll of which is the worse song - Mind Your Business or this?
  3. Fergie was clearly the driving force of anything decent from BEP.
  4. Spice is Back I feel could go either way - either really good, or just cringe. Angels just sounds like a cringefest from the title alone.
  5. This is the issue with throwing everything at week one to make it a top ten hit - there was nothing to boost it once it briefly stabilised in the 50s. It could've used the extra boost and exposure then and now it's just a bit too little, too late.
  6. That's dreadful. No wonder they binned it a decade ago.
  7. To be fair, a lot of hyperbole tends to be thrown around + while I think the second single might initially perform better than her usual second singles, I feel like Padam Padam might overshadow it (especially if it starts taking off in other markets) so it might actually be a wiser idea to go with a "typical Kylie single" for #2 and then try a bigger push for single #3 when Padam Padam is starting to properly die down. JMHO.
  8. Get Into You special edition coming
  9. Yeah, exactly. She sold like 1500 downloads in the first week and that's considered "good" today - but at the same time you need 5-6k to even bother the lower end of the chart. 1k of physical singles would only get her halfway; a few remix sales might add another 0.5-1k at best, so still far off. And besides, it wouldn't be a real "hit" anyway. If she wants to do music again beyond the odd toss-it-out-single her best bet would be to go for an album with multiple formats that would get a comparatively high peak (but exit in week 2).
  10. It just sounds to me like she had little involvement in releasing the song now (from the use of old pictures, supposed AI-generated video + the song being a decade old, potentially recorded with the Scream & Shout sessions).

Like others have said, low sales + many formats. The only thing that would be surprising if it actually stayed for more than two weeks on the charts.
  13. Sounds rather uninspired.
  14. Enjoy Yourself wasn't released until after Never Too Late, so it was hardly a new strategy for her to release a few singles pre-album. In hindsight, yes, they probably should've released it after Devil, but then again it'd miss out on those Christmas chart weeks and maybe ended up selling even less than it did. For whatever reason, the interest in buying a Kylie album just waned.
  15. Gerita, aka Popular Spice, slaying that Sports & Fitness chart :drama: Also, Desire being a long-lasting impactful hit that it charted a decade after release :cheer: Stunningly Successful Spice indeed
  16. No cowbells = no hit x
  17. To be fair, Rhythm of Love showed a rather sharp decline in success from her two previous albums despite single success, so I'm not sure if Let's Get To It would've been more successful with a different lead single; better peak, maybe, but I think it would've struggled.

New single I'd assume since there's been talks about record labels being interested in them releasing something before the end of the year.
  19. People on online pop forums tend to be horrible judges on what is or isn't a hit tbh.
  20. Kylie doesn't need to associate with flops like Rita xoxo
  21. Wasn't it said that they had the next 2-3 singles already planned? It wouldn't surprise me if they've filmed videos for more than Padam Padam and Hold On to Now to be honest, especially with them knowing she'll be tied up in Vegas for the last quarter of the year.
  22. I do enjoy the "Hold on to now / Hump me like Bow Wow Wow" lyric.
  23. I have a bunch of concerts I want to go to in August, so I'm pretty busy familiarizing myself with catalogs of those artists that I feel I can keep off until September!
  24. I said it before, but I think most Madonna fans are well aware that she's not the one that's driving this single's success hence the sort of muted reaction from her fanbase. Sure it's nice to see her back on the charts, but it's unlikely to do much for her solo stuff.
