I think so, or it featured a backing vocal. The performance was totally live though (ie. the chorus had no pre-recorded vocals) and they sounded better than ever. Its such a great song to show off all their vocals really.

They were just on Richard and Judy's new show, i missed it. Not like i was the only one, im sure no-one knows or cares about R+J since they ditched the UK's 4th biggest tv channel for an 'upcoming' revolution! They're on This Morning on Monday, some great promo for the album!

Added/edited. The official date for 'An Audience With...' is 13th Dec, sandwitched in between X Factor Final and the results. Its going to get amazing viewing figures! Also added the new Nintendo GA advert premiere date - its on Monday, along with GM:TV and the dvd release.

BTW, imo this is the best on the album! SHOCK HORROR!

LOL, come on now loose credibility? Maybe doing the song could of done that but not collaberating with a massive, critically aclaimed girlband. Its one of those cases where you think, why?! I mean just last week Keisha was talking about how GA are outsold by her band and look what happened the week after - Girls Aloud are on course for a massive single and massive album whilst Suga's are on set for their second lowest charting (and atm selling) album ... karma's a b**ch isnt it. I'll be glad to see them on CIN though, people think i hate them on here but i dont ... i just think GA are far better.

There was an article over on the official. It said its been THE most succesfull marketing campaign for KitKat and in top 5 for everything in the 21st century. Its helped them shift millions and i mean millions of bars, the article will be online somewhere.

I know, all the tour dvd news is over in the promo thread! I cant wait ... 4 days! Im not sure about the fan edition, its getting late now. Unless its announced tomorrow i dont see there being one (although apparently someone got an e-mail off fascination saying their was one). Both front and back covers for both cd's on page 1 along with both tracklistings. Just in case people didnt want to trawl through this thread.

WOW, some incredible interviews have come our past the past month or so. Love it, love the fact it isnt the end ... far from! I mean who actually would give it up? They've seen the way nearly all solo careers go. All the Spices, all Steps, all S Club...

So they're performing tomorrow on Jonathan Ross, they filmed it last night. I imagine we could possibly get a live band and of course much improved vocals. Should help sats sales be even bigger! Discuss the perfomance here!

Children in need date added, do you reckon they will perform 'The Promise' or the strongest album track on OOC or 'The Loving Kind'?! I mean i know it would be rather early for TLK but you never know, if they dont do it then i reckon the first performance will be on the Xmas special.

7,000 is awful, it aint got 150k in it before Xmas, never mind 2-300k. Im not being nasty (as remember none of us are actually part of the band, its nothing personal), im just being realistic. It was doomed, it is doomed, its set to become even more doomed and by the time they release a track that could sell it, it will be so far away from the top 40 and stacks in shops that no-one will buy it.

I think we have no doubt it will be no.1 come sunday. Sunday+Monday+Tuesday = 36,490 sold and we've still got wednesday's, thurday's, friday's and saturday's sales to add to that!

Lol, you're a bit behind. It was released last week and entered at #5, your well wishes are needed for this week though as it looks set to either stay at #5 or just slip one place to #6 ... pretty great.

Hate to contradict you but it isnt brilliant, its pheonomonal! They sold 12,000 copies in one day (tuesday). Its actually another 4 days sales before sunday (todays, thur, fri and sat) so i reckon 'The Promise' will surpass Duffy's first week sales of 72,000 and claim the prize for the biggest first week sales of 2008.
