No, i really dont. I have sang since the age of 4, i think i know what im talking about when it comes to live vocals. It was MIMED with elements of live singing, the final mix i would say was 70% mimed and 30% live. I dont need to argue, i know whats live and whats not and that definately featured mostly pre-recorded vocals. On the other hand the SCD performance was live and very good indeed.

It wont get number 1, its all been too early. The physical should be released tommorow at the peak of promotion and airplay but instead its being dragged out until next week. It wouldnt surprise me if this falls next week or at the very most sticks at #2.

I predict no.3 in tuesdays mids and by the Sunday it of fallen to no.4, then the Sunday after reach its peak of no.2 and have about 7 more weeks in the top 40.

Now its made the C-list at R1 i expect it to move up in next weeks to top 20 and then get budged up to B-list at R1 and go top 10 the week after.

Yeah nice and live at SCD unlike at T4 which without a doubt was mainly mimed. I know what im talking about and it certainly wasnt fully live, pick out what you want but my points stand up. Wonder how much effect SCD will have?

Im not disputing that they're really good live (well Amelle and Keisha are amazing) im just saying that them miming isnt adding to the fact that this project isnt exactly their best in terms of song, video, management and now live performances. Here's to SCD in 4 hours...

So you're saying Keisha's verse WAS mimed?! Because to me it was, all of it was. Amelle mimed SO badly and you cant say that you didnt see Heidi come in too early but not actually hear anything! Also there was a clearly pre-recorded ad-lib by Heidi in the third chorus. It was all mimed but i may be right in saying that Heidi did sing live on the chorus. The last chorus sounds the same as the first even though Keisha is meant to be singing ad-libs (therefore taking a voice away from the balance) further proving that it was mimed. Maybe it will change for tonight, although most people cant spot miming so it might not matter anyway. But to me, it just makes me wonder what the hell is going on with them at the moment.

LOL it was mimed, trust me! Amelle was the one that gave it away for me and then when Keisha did her part perfectley it just confirmed it! Look at the part where Amelle sings the last line of the 2nd verse and Heidi sings an extra few words with her mic up - no sound comes from her until a few lines later proving that their mics werent switched on. It was a pre-recorded vocal and i have a fear that they may use it on SCD tonight :(

They were miles better than the boys, even as a 11 year old (loving acts like Atomic Kitten) i could tell that.

But then you could say Pipettes took Dusty Springfields look, plus the video doesnt use entirely one look - it has an almost Supremes-esque feel to it too. Duffy would be copying Amy Winehouse etc if this rule applied. I dont mean to diss or anything but i highly doubt the girls have even seen that Pipettes video, nevermind copyed their look.
