-
Lemar - The Reason (4th Album)
I hope he does well, wasnt his last album a bit of a dissapointment sales-wise?

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
Nah they all look amazing on it, better than loads of covers i've recently seen.

Tour 2009...
Why?! Thats the way it goes sometimes, its good news after almost a year since the last one was announced.

Alesha ∙ The Alesha Show: The Encore ∙
If she adds Lipstick to the album and changes the release of the single to a week after then she might just get some success. I hope everything starts happening soon as 3rd Nov isnt that far away.

The Hollyoaks Thread...
Looking good atm, gonna be an interesting set of weeks ahead.

Songs that were expected to be #1, but weren't
Girls Aloud - Call The Shots Girls Aloud - Something Kinda Oooh Both showed signals of going to no.1 but shockingly never actually made it.

Girls [Cover + Tracklisting Thread]
Shame about the cover, so bad. Whats going on atm? I think they need to move onwards and upwards from this cover, video and ultimately single.

Predict: Leona Lewis - Forgive Me
We shall see.

Girls Aloud - The Promise
But it all should of been thought out way before an announcement, video and radio release - it just seems they dont know what they're doing and then suddenly someone comes up with another master plan and everything is changed once again, baaaad. Anyway back to GA, with the Leona announcement and the fact that they're isnt massive competition from anyone else in previous release weeks or the one of the 27th then i think this could well make it to no.1 - the d/l and physical released together, an appearance on X Factor, (possibly) Strictly Come Dancing and Paul O'Grady should ensure that.
-
Predict: Leona Lewis - Forgive Me
Its now looking at a total of 6 months since announcement to release for this track and to be honest she needs to get on the promo circuit as i think people might just get sick of this by 3rd Nov. Its been available and on radio for so long now, i think her managment have f***ed this up IMO.

Girls Aloud - The Promise
I wonder how this works out for her X Factor appearance and i wonder why they moved it back in the first place ... jeese 'Forgive Me' will of took 6 months to be released by November 3rd - pretty shocking management for such a big star IMO.
-
Girls Aloud - The Promise
I apologise, i overlooked SOTU and WTW but thats still FOUR singles out of their EIGHTEEN releases that have had big tv promotion.
-
The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
OH MY GOD that single cover is PHEONOMONAL!
-
Predict: Sugababes - Girls
Makes my point even more valid really, its just a really lifeless song with no originality. I hope it makes top 10 for their sake but it doesnt deserve to bother the top 5 (which it will).
-
Girls Aloud - The Promise
PARDON?! You mean TWO out of their EIGHTEEN single releases?!

Girls Aloud • The Promise
Its set outside i imagine, old school think of Grease (the video that is). Im not sure, but i imagine its in the UK although Nadine never said where she was on sunday.
-
Girls Aloud - The Promise
Both formats are release on 27th Oct (download may get a release on sunday).

Predict: Leon Jackson 'Dont call this love' vs.
'Up' is much better than Leons attempt (although his isnt half bad either) but with Leon getting the X Factor exposure, id say Leons WILL go no.1 for a week only and 'Up' will go top 5.

Girls Aloud • The Promise
News on the video ;

Girls Aloud - The Promise
Its released in 5 weeks, i'd say thats hardly any time for someone to get bored of it. The video will be here in about 1 week and hopefully by then Radio 1 will at least C List it. Its going to be pretty fresh compared to Sugababes who have recieved radio play almost 8 weeks before the release and Leona's 'Forgive Me' which has been available since the beginning of the year and played on radio 7 weeks before the official release date. Timing could'nt be better for Girls Aloud if you ask me, this is why i think the two mentioned above may not live up to the hype.
-
"Forgive Me" • Fourth Single
I just think this song has been released to radio too early and now a fair few people are bored, i think the X Factor performance might take her to no.1 but it wont be anywhere near as massive as Bleeding Love or even BIT/FITS if you ask me.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl...
Something around 800,000 but the repeats have performed well. I dont think people actually knew it was starting again!

For One Night Only
