I dont just like 'girl groups' what a bad generalisation. I do indeed love PSB and just because i was'nt born when they first started out doesnt mean im not a fan. I too love 'West End Girls', an absolute classic.

Could that be to do with the fact The Saturdays have been publicly around for less than 7 months? The others i mentioned above have had years and years of time to perfect their craft. Give them a chance, they could produce a really great single that raises heap loads of money thats all im saying. They are good, they are what Comic Relief needs they are what pop music needs and they sell bucket loads of singles.

So singles are what makes a band now-a-days? Listen to some of their highly innovative album tracks, great lyrics and great vocals. Add 'Biology' and 'Something Kinda Ooh' and 'Love Machine' to that list and you have over a 1/4 of their singles listed - i think that constitutes as a 'non boring band' in my opinon.

HAHA, there you go attacking someone who actually likes the band - just because they're not Oasis, Madonna or Iron Maidon there seen as bad. They produce good, chart songs and good album tracks. I LIKE THEM and that wont change so stop trying to patronise me. I do get your point about it being a public forum, go ahead and try to intimidate their fans with your past pop facts and your 'experience' - it is'nt going to change anyones opinion. The only thing that can do that is the music itself. Dont preach, just put your own opinion forward. Quotes like this ; 'a band who you'll be utterly mortified are (dis)gracing your CD racks in probably less time' are stupid and pointless.

Ok, im not being funny but to call Girls Aloud boring is also as laughable as you think it is for me to call this Pet Shop Boys SINGLE TRACK boring. I'm entitled to my opinion on this one song which i do so happen to think is repetative, boring and not as good as most of you lot are making out.

I do get you Silver, but i mean should'nt this be re-named 'Is it a good idea for The Saturdays to do the Comic Relief single' or something along those lines. I do suppose im over-reacting a little but it just gets rather tedious when everytime i come here to post or look at something i have to get through endless rants about 'how bad it is for british music to have The Sats' and how much 'they look like slags' on the cover, NOT about Comic Relief.

Nope, because unlike you i have something to say about The Saturdays that most people in this post want to hear about - im a fan so can contribute to this post with news and information unlike you who just posts attacking people for liking the idea, cover or The Sats in general (and no doubt the song once its premiered on Monday). I'm not scared of you and your essay long rants, i'm going to keep on posting in here and mostly keep off the forums i dont like - something you can't seem to do yourself as you have been inside any The Saturdays thread (outside their forum) for the best part of 6 months 'preaching' about how awful and bad they are.

MY OPINION COMING UP .. Not as good as i thought it would be coming from some people's over the top posts. Repetative and boring, hate his voice too. The only good bit is the 'dont have to be' parts. BORING.

Grimly, can you just go away? I havent even bothered to read any of your past 5 posts, its just so repetative and boring. Do you really need to comment on everything someone says and have a comeback for everything positive posted about The Sats? Its just so sad in a way, shove off - i dont think many people want to have to trawl through your rants to get to information about the girls really.

I think the guy who sang 'Sun Goes Down' did the worst cover of it, this is probs the best i quite like it - better than Coldplay's!

If you had a clue about Girls Aloud, you'd know after the inital hype of the girls actually did 'do it for themselves' and were left virtually alone for a period in their career having to make their own descions on setlists, costumes and video idea's. As for attacking The Saturdays motives for doing the track, you need to get a life. Unless you know how it works and whether the charity approaches the record company or vice versa you really should'nt pass judgement. Cynical pig. Who WOULD anyone say no to recording a charity single? Not alot of reasons, incase their the ones being selfish and not wanting to raise money for dying children. Why, why does it always come back to YOU critising The Saturdays really? They're doing a song with all proceeds going to charity, but you still can't see past hatred for them and wish them well. I mean for gods sake, you haven't even heard the song ... not that it will make any difference.

But thats still amazing, they have a MILLION selling album!

It starts tonight for its full run after being picked up after the pilot last year, looks bloody amazing.
