The Box
Can anyone help, i came into this tune halfway through and missed most of it and never caught the name/ It was on Box on Friday in the new section, the same time as 365 "One Touch". It was a great sort of R&B/dance tune which had really fat girls in the video, one sitting on a washing machine etc....think the song said "fat girls" in one of the lines. It was soooo awesome i need to know what it is!!! Can anyone help please???? PS. 365 "One Touch" is wicked!!!!

Retro Appreciation Thread
Stand back in awe and gawp at the wonderous tune I have picked as the retro-appreciation tune!!! One of my favourite pieces of glorious trance of all time. Two artists both with musical backgrounds come together harmoniously to create this melodic masterpiece. One is the younger daughter of crooner Marty Wilde and the other a man who has more aliases than a con artist. The gorgeous Roxanne Wilde, started out singing in her brother Ricky's band, who afterwards took on a few others and formed Dimestars. They only had one top 75 hit "My Superstar" which spelled the end for them. Roxy went solo and teamed up with the producer, something for which i am truely grateful. The other guy is the undisputed champion of euphoric trance, Mr Darren Tate aka Angelic aka Orion aka a load of others too! This guy has more faces than Big Ben. Classically-trained Darren Tate has had major commercial success with such beautiful compositions as "Winter", "Its My Turn" and "Eternity". Darren created the DT8 Project and "Destination" was born. Here is the video. Show your appreciation and kneel before this angelic slice of marvellous tranceness!!!! PS. Roxanne's sexy poses and charisma is absolutely perfect for this video. I seem to have a problem embedding the video so heres the link lol [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1T5qVdaNVU.swf

I havent got it myself. I heard it on juno. The US vinyl's out with the remixes.

The Prydz is back!!!!
Its not at all like Call On Me, it has more of an electro theme. Needs a few listens.
-
Sunfreakz Project with vocalist in tow
Andrea Britton is the latest in a long line of ladies to lend their vocal talents to instrumentals just aching for commercial success. This new full vocal version of the Sunfreakz Ibiza sunset anthem "Riding The Wave", re-named "Counting Down The Days" by re-titled Sunfreakz Project Feat. Andrea Britton, works quite well. Give it a listen when you can. PS. Its on the new CD Pool. Out 4th December on Positiva.
-
Sugababes new single
Haji & Emanuel going all D Ramirez on us with this corking new remix of the Sugababes latest single "Easy". Out 6th November on Island.
-
Geyster - Under The Fuse Of Love
Wonderful and haunting 70s retro disco feel to mellow you out now set for chart success. The Arno Cost remix is the best. But Soulshaker do a great version too.
-
Robbie Williams has never sounded SO GOOD!!!!!
...thanks to Kurd Maverick. His Main Mix of new single "Lovelight" is enough to make you wanna blow all your savings on a ticket to a sun-drenched location as soon as you hear the intro. Sweet summer guitars mixed with tough edged synths. Outstanding!!!!!

Beyonce - Ring The Alarm
Bit less funky sounding more towards the electro revolution thats happening but still sounding top notch. Anyone checked it out yet?????
-
Super Jupiter - You Know
Cool soft rock/electro tune with great chorus complete with tongue and cheek lyrics like "i like to lick's my girlfriend's ass". Video is well funny. Out 23rd October on Ariola Records. What does everyone else think???
-
The Prydz is back!!!!

JJ's Dance Singles Chart #40
UPDATED!!!
-
Soul Avengerz Feat. Javine - Dont Let The Morning Come
Well she's signed a deal with Positiva. So I reckon she'll have to do two more singles and an album with them.
-
Bodyrox feat. Luciana - Yeah Yeah
Loved the original version of this but what they've done with it is astounding. Luciana's vocals are the perfect accompaniment.
-
Dirty Old Ann - Turn Me Out
With the right promotion, think this has the potential to be another "Love On My Mind". Hope so its wicked!!
-
Woolies charts
What about Luther's single Shine?? Its awesome!!!
-
Luther Vandross - Shine
Out tomorrow. Let's get this really high in the charts. Radio 1 are supporting it. The Freemasons mix is one of their best.
-
Shawn Emanuel - U Better Believe It
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000IAZ3K4.01._AA240_SCLZZZZZZZ_V41746195_.jpg This 21 yr old has supported the biggest names in the music business, such as Kanye West, Sugababes, Missy Elliott and Beyonce Knowles and is now set to acheive some kind of star status on his own. This R&B song gets an awesome makeover from Bimbo Jones. Check it out. Released 16th October on EMI.

Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit
If you love your Detroit Hip-Hop, two new version are circuiting, one from D12 and the other a bootleg of Jungle Brothers "Ill House You". Neither a patch on the original. The D12 version sounds SO WRONG!

Did Eric Prydz release an album?
That Attic track is his remix of The Attic's Destiny. It is good though. Think he's behind the new version of Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall forthcoming on EMI.

Coldcut - Walk a Mile In My Shoes
This is actually a reworking from an old 70s tune by Joe South. Not their original composition.
