  1. Ew.. Paulini. She has a good voice but she's just got no appeal. Having said that, no ex Aussie Idol has, except J Maub
  2. Yeah I think so too, or at least a danced up ballad as this was remixed at the same time as INYN. I don't know which version I prefer though.
  3. I've heard Saturday Night on the radio a few times. It's just okay for me .. I'm not overly impressed with her 2nd album, she has gone too mainstream and is trying to be an international smash but the material just isn't there. And if I'm honest, the Aussies aren't feeling it either haha! Been Waiting was amazing - it wasn't try hard.
  4. Zm-Yicrw5Ys Just found this. They probably planned to release it at one point - remixing both ballads seemed like their plan and choosing the best - but BBW is so much more powerful than INYN. Maybe they can just shove it out as a digital winter single :kink: Unless... thats what they were waiting for  Who knows
  5. I had a feeling Alexis was looking at success... quote me  And this just proves AATW, that you CAN get a dance hit with a song longer than 3 mins, infact, this one is more than 4 minutes!
  6. Yeah I have her album too - amazing I love it, thanks to Kath for introducing me to her! My favourite song is Made Up My Mind! yVICDmq_nBo
  7. Currently #1 on the Australian Singles Chart (different to the International ARIA Singles Chart where it is #9) and has been picked up by US record label Atlantic. Definitely one of my favourite dance-pop songs of the year and can see it doing very well in the UK so long as AATW don't get involved  TURqCNY5gpI I wasn't sure whether to post this in Pop or Dance, but it seems more Pop to me, feel free to move it.
  8. It's good in the verses, but that chorus... I can't describe it, it's just awful  And that sample, just wtf.
  9.
  10. Does anyone think Alexis Jordan could be looking at #1 on the week she is released? I think maybe top 5, it's a busy week - her label are taking a risk  But she is gonna get mega sales.
  11. I love Just Tonight - one of my favourite songs this year. However, I doubt it will do well on the charts :( Will definitely shift some albums though ^_^
  12. http://twitter.com/inna_ro She is so nice on Twitter :D And so dedicated to her fans, she spends hours doing chat sessions  #AskInna
  13. It sounds OKAY. I seriously don't get the hype  It'll probably grow on me but it's not that instant and sounds like a Dynamite ripoff.
  14. Meh, the other video is better.

I hate how people use dated... there is really no such thing in music. You could say it's not in style right now but that isn't a bad thing.. If everyone released current sounding music, we'd be overrun with Roll Deep $h!t.. and if no one took the risk to try a new style, how could we ever progress into new musical styles? We'd be stuck in the same genre forever because everyone is playing it safe. I personally find the older sound quite refreshing and new - it has all been done before, but like when Lady Gaga came with something "dated" and 80s last year, look how popular that style is now! I think Top 3.. possibly #1
  16. It's not gonna be a single! I wish it was as it's my favourite but that is just a promo vid that was made during the album photoshoot, it only got released now.
  17. It isn't much different, but I quite the international version of Butterflies! Not as much as the original but it's good ^_^ They made it a lot rockier in the chorus.
  18. Just Tonight HAS to be the 3rd single :o It is amazing! Would shift a lot of albums too.
  19. Apparently the "second" single is Light Me Up... I guess that means 2nd after Miss Nothing, since Make Me Wanna Die was used to launch the EP and Miss Nothing for the album.
  20. I like her and the album, but it seems she has some new material coming out... it'd be wiser to combine both albums once her new one is released rather than leaving the UK a year behind all the time.
  21. Top Gear? Is BBC 3 as big as the other 2 now? Or is it still a flop channel?
  22. But the X Factor songs are $h!t, so no thanks
  23. Does anyone else think this thread and the other thread should be merged to keep the US (and UK) release discussion in one place?
  24. I never expected this to be her lead single :o I always thought Cry Me Out was planned and then it was changed to TIU... but I'm glad about this! It's kinda R&B which radio would like and it's a bit edgy. And it's catchy I think it'd be a moderate sized hit for her. I know people are doubting it but I was shocked when it reached #1 in the UK (despite the buzz surrounding her). Having said that, she has quite a lot of hype Stateside so who knows?
  25. I don't know whether I want Miss Nothing to outpeak MMWD... they're both great but still MMWD is just amazing  Is it me or does she now seem a bit more bubbly and friendly in interviews? Maybe now she's made a point that she's, or thinks she is, a "real hardcore mofo" she'll drop the act.
