  1. According to a few Australian newspapers, Jessica Mauboy will be trying her hand in the US and UK this year. The Australian Idol 2006 runner-up who had hits with Burn, Because and Running Back featuring superstar, American rapper, Flo Rida which achieved 2x Platinum in her home country is rumoured to be working with Dr Dre to replace a few tracks on her debut album, Been Waiting to go international. Already US friendly, Running Back , Empty, Up/Down, Because and #1 single, Burn sure to make the cut with songs such as Cyndi Lauper cover, Time After Time likely to be thrown out. Songs from her deluxe edition of the album wrote especially for an international launch (Breathe, Runnin') are also said to be on there. I can't wait to hear what she comes up with working with Dr Dre and other big name producers. I'm sure this time next year she'll be the biggest thing ever to come out of the Australian music industry. Breathe: 1Q4zFme5wlw Running Back: aNqJNj3Clf4 Burn: FGfvkv3zVzU Empty: oZatX_Yj7EY I think she'll get herself known by releasing Running Back first (unless she get's another big name rapper whilst working with Dr Dre) and then going for either Up/Down, Empty or Breathe for the second single, as Burn isn't as "American".
  2. Two can play that game. But tbh i would've preffered Victim, Bigger Than The World or What If - even Love Dealer is getting released before them.
  3. yUpLwsTdIek The pictures aren't showing, but they're here: http://keshasebert.org/pix/thumbnails.php?album=55 Looks like it's gonna be a fun and trashy vid! Can't wait to see it!!! Cover: http://i50.tinypic.com/n69ovc.png
  4. When she said it was similar to Release Me I didn't think she meant almost it's twin. It's intro, 2nd verse, chord structure, it's the same as Release Me.
  5. I think Dido is nice enough, but I find all her songs (except Life For Rent and White Flag) boring... Talented, but doesn't make good songs imo. So you could say she was crap.
  6. Getting ready for an Australian release... it's been on the radio twice today. I think they are using the Cahill remix since I haven't heard the original remix.
  7. #8 on Swedish iTunes... :o Could this reach a new peak over a year after it first hit the charts?
  8. I think it'll do well in Germany. I think this thread and the Pop thread need to be merged together :) idk which forum they should be in though...
  9. #715 on iTunes LOL! It's lower than BOTH version's of Outta Here...

*LATE* Secret Love: YyXmvLfsr8M Too cheesy to be a single tbh, nice enough song though. BTW: The chord structure is more or less a Release Me rip-off (especially in the verses). I thought it was meant to be similar, not it's twin.
  11. I know  He might be just as desperate as she is....
  12. To be honest I think she'll release Rolling Stone instead of Gravity to relaunch her album.
  13. She did perform it on the Alan Titchmarsh show... :kink: Too bad coffin-dodgers don't have a clue how to download music
  14. Apparently the 3rd single is Love Dealer... can anyone confirm this??? If it is, then meh. It's a brilliant song and very single friendly but it is a little dirty lol. The song is basically about sex, so if LoveGame was banned from radio in certain countries this could too... I still think Victim is a sure hit and I wish JT would give it a chance.
  15. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5a/Admit%20It%20UK%20cover.jpg j7HvJwCPq-Q Surprised there hasn't been a thread about this already (although it has been mentioned in the Outta Here topic) but Esmée second single will be available to buy in the UK from tomorrow. Her debut UK single, Outta Here, which peaked at number 7 on the UK singles chart and reached number 3 on iTunes. Let's hope Admit It can beat it's success. It's a brilliant song, although not as instant as Outta Here, could do really great. The iTunes single features the song along with a Bimbo Jones remix, which I must say based on the preview is just as good, if not better than the original and thanks to cherrypicking we could see it boost Admit It on the chart. moxOk329zwU
  16. Release Me is my favourite song EVER, believe me. I still love it so much after more than a year, it's such a shame it didn't get even higher in the chart (and stuck around more). I blame AATW's marketing skills... well actually, lack of marketing skills and the shortened radio edit. But still it's a great achievement for a Swede's debut single and I hope On and On saves her from being a one hit wonder. Poker Face came a close 2nd :P
  17. OK.... After some quick research here is what I got: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/45/Rock_That_Body_BEP.png Fourth UK, Australian and Canadian single, and fifth elsewhere after Imma Be. It's been sent to radio in Australia and Canada and is to be released in the UK on 1st March, 2010. It has already charted in Canada and Australia: Australia Hot30 (airplay chart): #1 Australian ARIA Charts: #31 this week Australian iTunes: #27 currently Canadian Hot 100: #97 this week Canadian iTunes: #98 currently UK iTunes: #990 (after Alive and Imma Be) It looks like it could be an Aussie hit at least atm... lol
  18. I guess it's official... it's already been released to radio in Australia.
  19. Yeah Hungover is like, Chain Reaction but remastered. It's a sure hit, I have a feeling it will be a single at some point.
  20. I heard this on the radio today, and forgot how bad it was...

It's just a REMIX now, there are only rumours that it will be the UK edit, I can see why though since that's the type of production that'd be a hit.

    It's not official, just speculation.

I think the release date will be 1st February... or maybe the week before. EDIT: Rumours say AATW are taking away it's "euro" and replacing it with "chav" by releasing this version as a single. Surprisingly despite it's chavviness it is still really good and would do amazing in the UK I think. lp8mmcfkmFI

http://i48.tinypic.com/207kglu.jpg :cheer: :cheer: FINALLY AATW saw sense! I think this has the potential to be as big as Release Me - maybe bigger had it been the 2nd single, they just need to promote the arse off it now!! No release date confirmed yet. 25. A huge radio hit on my local station right now so I guess it's getting released soon. It's a really catchy, fun dance track despite it's cheesy lyrics. x8eDyCRa0mY
