Dido - The Queen of Music
Dido is an amazing artist! White Flag and Life For Rent are two of my all time favourite songs

Muppets for surprise No.1?
Wouldn't it be better if you just reported him for spamming in the first place instead of taking personal digs at him? It's his choice and opinion which singers he likes and he doesn't need someone taking the p*** out of him for liking someone  Peter, just try not to spam in all the topics from now on, a true Dido fan will find it regardless ^_^

Has there ever been a song that reached No 1 on I tunes..
Agnes - Release Me was #1 by quite a bit for most of the week but only made #3. :( That pissed me right of...

Kesha - Animal + Cannibal
I saw that too... There are rumours that her second single is Backstabber. It was originally meant to be her debut single (so it already has a video.. little is known about the plot about from it stars a "load of trannies" lol, should be interesting) and I personally prefer it over TiK ToK. It'd be a shame not to release it since it's her breakout song and the song that made me (and lots of others) adore her! I think it could do as good as TiK ToK, the chorus is amazingly catchy! The lyrics are amazing too: I'm sick and tired hearing all about my life From other bitches with all of your lies wrapped up so tight So maybe you should shut your mouth, shut your mouth... such your f**king mouth! Honestly, I think it's kinda funny, That you waste your breath talking about me, Got me feelin' kinda special really... Genious  BACKSTABBER4SINGLE#TWO!!! Vz7Bix3HA34

Yeah PCD aren't so great... they're so 2005... Jamali, I've only heard one of their songs and it was great! I don't use Facebook, Twitter (much) or MySpace  Just MSN, another you need to get your ass on ;) lol

Jody 'Just Gonna Be Me' • Debut Album
OK I retitled the thread to "Operation: UK Launch" Although she has released her album here, we need full-on promo with her in the UK. We want megabucks from UK record labels poured into her so how are we gonna get her heard of hugely? EDIT: Ideas plz :)

Jody 'Just Gonna Be Me' • Debut Album
That totally make sense! Wind It ftw though. It's like Ricki-Lee released a mediocre song and Jody came out with this huge club banger!

Agnes - I Need You Now
It must be selling absolute TONS in Sweden! No one below it can fight her, and she's only stuck behind GaGa (who will be selling LOADS anyway) so this could be her biggest Swedish single from the era :o

Jody 'Just Gonna Be Me' • Debut Album
Yeah, I agree, she needs to get over here! Here's what I'd have for singles: 1. Are You Ready (more UK friendly to launch her) 2. Just Gonna Be Me (Same as above) 3. Who I Am (Early 00's R&B <3 This could do great over here) 4. Wind It (One of her stronger songs to end the era and keep it lasting)

http://cdn.24.com/files/Cms/General/d/73/e18f606ae059432c9c7105ee001159f1.JPG South African Idol winner, Jody Williams released her album in the UK digitally on 4th November, after Wind It was released as a single. Does this mean she'll get a push here? I really hope so, she's amazing! And I FINALLY got my hands on her album, which is brilliant on a first listen! Wind It: 71ttpJGLQzE Kiss Of Life: 1WLfce3EOFw

Jessica Mauboy ∙ 'Let Me Be Me'
vY_I8ivb_qI It was released today in Australia is the 6th (and probably final, unless she pulls a Rihanna) single from her debut album, 'Been Waiting'. Her second ballad single, written by UK Eurovision 2009 entrant and Sugababes member, Jade Ewen, is currently climbing Australian iTunes and will hopefully become another top 10 for her. I personally love it, what do you think? Btw, Jess picked up the 'Highest Selling Single' award at the ARIA 2009 Awards last night for Running Back (Burn was also shortlisted) which is a huge achievement :w00t:

LOVE that tracklist! I do think that On And On will be the 3rd single though :cheer: Or MAYBE Love Love Love since it's on the album :yahoo: :yahoo: The cover is amazing too, the best DLP cover yet: http://lowculture.co.uk/scandi/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/11987287x.jpg

Agnes - I Need You Now
The ballad version will be released on iTunes aswell (as the "UK Edit") which is great as BOTH could chart high, meaning a better position for the song in general :)

Jordin Sparks | Don't Let It Go To Your Head | Jan. 10th
Emergency is too generic, it is boring the whole way through tbh, the chorus does little to disguise the dull verses. After a quick flick through the album here's what I score each song as a single: Walking on Snow - 7/10 - It is a catchy song with a fun chorus but it isn't something that could become a major hit. Don't Let It Go To Your Head - 5/10 - One of my fave songs by her, it is simply AMAZING. But since it is a cover it shouldn't be released but maybe cause the original isn't widely known... who knows? It Takes More - 8/10 - It is catchy, has decent verses and a very strong chorus - radio will be all over it! With the right video it could be her biggest hit this era. Watch You Go - 4/10 - It's ok... doesn't have that wow factor that would make it stand out as a single, but is a good album track. No Parade - 9/10 - I've tried to whore this song onto all my mates, I love it! Those brilliant verses, even better chorus, and then at the end of the chorus that melody is divine! Brilliant single, and an even better album song. I love that "Love In This Club" thing they have going on as well! Listen to it as a "single" and see what you think! Let It Ran - 5/10 - Decent song.. I like the intro but it when it gets to the verses it is disappointing as it isn't what you expect, not a good single despite a good chorus! Emergency - 4/10 - You know how I feel about this one lol! Radio could like it a lot though... Was I The Only One - 2/10 - A brilliant album track, it is such a good song. Radio just wouldn't pick it up though and I wouldn't fancy listening to it on my way to work if I'm being honest. Faith - 3/10 - Same reasons as Was I The Only One... slightly better though. The Cure - 9/10 - I've heard the tune in the intro somewhere before I think but who cares, it is amazing! A genuinely amazing ballad! Passes all the tests for being a single, but I'm not sure it'll be recieved as well as No Parade.

Pixie Lott - Cry Me Out

No Parade, no doubt about it!

Best British Female Singer Of This Decade ??
It is a close one between Leona and Alexandra for me, but Alex is a real performer where as Leona is so wooden.

Number 1 of 2009 - Lady GaGa still has a strong chance?
And it's now the 27th October? Minus 1 week is still 10 months at the top for GaGa...
