  1. Alyssa Reid confirmed herself that her 2nd single, "The Game (featuring Snoop Dogg)" is released on August 27. EDIT: It's already in there
  2. Ohai Gary Barlow.
  3. Ivi is #46... where all the other Eurovision entries have dropped (except Loreen of course), she is still climbing. Could she stick around any longer?
  4. Emailed the george.ergatoudis@bbc.co.uk about getting Euphoria on the playlist. YOu should all toooo! I mentioned the quality of the song and the iTunes position :D
  5. Don't remember it :o Sounds more like Steps though haha
  6. I dunno who she is tbh
  7. Yeah, I think it took Lena a few days to reach top 40 though, not 3 hours haha. Aussie radio is really good for jumping on fresh songs, and good thing that tomorrow is Monday, so when all the execs get in the office they will definitely playlist this on Nova which is a nationwide radio network. There has never been such a positive reaction to a Eurovision song here ever - all the Facebook statuses simply say "EUPHOOOORIAAA" haha. I'm pretty excited about having a Euro hit in Australia. People can't deny how huge this song is, seriously... even haters can't hate B-)
  8. Just bought Euphoria on Australian iTunes... to put it in perspective... Time Eurovision ended here: 00:00ish Time now: 03:00 Euphoria's position: #20 Euphoria's position at 5pm tomorrow when all the Aussie radio stations jump on board, and it has been all over the news and iTunes TV chart (where they will probably show her MF performance)....? I know no one really cares about Australia, but this song can really reach #1 here! And if it can reach #1 in Australia then it shows what a monster this song is.
  9. Capital are HYPING Loreen.. awesome!
  10. Kinda funny to watch people rising to this ^_^
  11. Pff... could she not wait till Sunday? jk before you all jump on me.
  12. Don't just buy it to spend your money! If you like the singles then of course, but assuming you're getting pocket money, save it then maybe you'll have £30
  13. She confirmed on Twitter that The Game is her 2nd single, and the UK is getting a revised version of the album - maybe a revised version of the song too.

I don't get what's so good about Jessica. She can sing yup, but am I missing anything besides her being 'QOL' before anyone says it. Or is it just another Buzzjack 'let's jizz over the girl because the guys won't let us stick it in them' thing? No offence.
  15. The song is nice, but the production is too Titanium (which I don't think is great to be honest, very underwhelming, this is just worse). So I'm looking out for some good remixes!
  16. There is no censorship during the day in Australia, only on public TV channels. The parents are left responsible for what their child watches and doesn't watch and I'm pretty sure 99% of people turn out fine despite that. So I'll vote no
  17. If Justin gets to #1, would it be the first time the UK had back-to-back Canadian #1s? And also, the first year with 3 Canadians to reach the top 3? That'd be pretty cool! I always think Canada is pretty underrated in the music world.
  18. I never really liked Michael Jackson, so in my opinion, it's sad that such a bad (imo) album sold as much as it did. Not that I particularly like 21 that much either, I appreciate it for what it is, and that millions of people around the world love it. Get over it, Michael Jackson reached his peak in the 80s and unfortunately not around anymore, it's only natural and to be expected that someone will overtake him someday.
  19. Wish there was a No Preference option on these 'want' charts. You have to vote in them but don't always have an answer.
  20. Let's say hypothetically, Carly and her two fake versions stay in the Top 40 until Sunday. Will all three chart separately, or will the sales be totalled?
  21. Think: 11-20 Want: 21-40 It doesn't deserve to flop, but it's just not that good..
  22. Lol?

In this day, I class the single(s) before the album as buzz generators. The single that leads the album is the one that is released with/directly before it (if not the first single). Examples: Katy Perry - Teenage Dream (buzz single, California Girls, lead single, Teenage Dream) Jessie J - Who You Are (buzz single. Do It Like A Dude, lead single, Price Tag) Emeli Sande - Our Version of Events (buzz singles, Heaven & Daddy, lead single, Next To Me) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (buzz single, Video Games, lead single, Born To Die) Cher Lloyd - Sticks & Stones (buzz single, Swagger Jagger, lead single, With Ur Love) The reason I say that is because the song you promote during the release of the album is generally your most recent single before this. But it's all down to opinion too! The lead single doesn't necessarily have to be the first/most successful.
  25. Regardless of who I agree with, I'm really not paying attention, I have to comment on this. In my opinion, Jay Z and Kanye have chosen to be musicians as a profession, that's their craft. As music listening members of the public, with opinions, we don't have to like their music, and we have every right to judge them if we don't like what they put out. Of course taste is subjective, but we have just as much right to judge musicians as we do teachers, politicians and journalists. If you decide on your job, then you are open to accept criticism because that's what helps you improve - and regardless of how much money you make and how many records you sell, not everyone will like your work. Doesn't mean you should change everything for those who don't, but this higher class, superiority of "I'm better than you because I write my own lyrics and produce my own songs, making your opinion wrong" shows exactly how immature and deluded some people are. Mini essay rant, but there's my two cents.
