But wasn't Amazing her biggest hit? Hot may be her signature hit (and biggest in the UK) but Amazing was huuuuuuge in France and Eastern Europe - more so than Hot imo

I've been thinking about the Australian Singles Chart collection Period, I think it's Thursday - Wednesday (not completely sure) to collect sales numbers for the chart published on the next Sunday and it made me wonder how much of an impact it would have on the UK chart. Songs that gain popularity midweek - a recent example would be Inna - Sun Is Up - could get a higher peak than frontloaded songs that fly up iTunes on the Sunday which chart much lower than their iTunes peak. Sun Is Up: Actual chart position - 17, although it has been top 15 since Wednesday on iTunes. What do you think would happen in the UK? Would it be easier for songs which take a bit longer to climb iTunes reach top 10, and will it stop frontloaded releases like Gaga from making #1? I know she hasn't made number one yet, but you know what I mean :lol: I personally think it'd make the chart more exciting.
