I wonder if Taio is still gaining on Olly?. It would be amazing if he hit no.1 again. I think Alex will hit a brick wall when she get to 3.

Katy will get her no.1 next week for sure. I hope Olly holds on, not long to go now.

iTunes Chart: August 2010 (III)
McFly's fans are pissed off they sold out with their new sound, commercial radio aren't playing them that much. I've hardly seen the video anywhere. Alesha has no hope of making the top 10. Her last single flopped, she has practially no airplay and i haven't seen her promoting the single. She only performed it once weeks ago. Alex is well represented on promo and airplay. Her problem is the song is a stinker. I agree top 3 is the best she can do. I think The Script will surprise people.

They are, but they aren't contenders for the top spot IMO.

Olly is no.1 on Amazon and Tesco digital. I hope his physicals will make the difference. Too bad he doesn't have a radio edit on itunes :(

I love how buzzjack goes mad when some basic b*tch doesn't get her no.1  Why the hostility towards male artists?. Olly fully deserves it.

The Wanted - All Time Low
Anyone else surprised how the single managed 4 weeks in the top 10?. It's not because i don't like them or the song. I just didn't expect it to be a huge hit for them.
-
McFly - Party Girl
It's a more synth driven sound for them. They are a band not a boy band. Sounding like JLS (i can't hear it myself) isn't a bad thing. They are absolutely huge and considered the only success story from xfactor in their year.

McFly - Party Girl
This is so much better than anything JLS have put out :) Def top 3. Very strong contender for #1.

Chase & Status just have to get to the top 5. please!. :music:

Alexandra Burke - Start Without You
McFly's physicals might get to no.1 over this. I'm sick of this song now and it don't sound good live either. Top 5.

I saw JLS in Nottingham in February. They were amazing. I expected them to be good, they did surprise me with their energy and vocals. It was worth enduring the screams and hysteria. It weren't great on the ol' ears  I've seen TW at London's Clothes show. I'm not saying they were bad at all cuz they were pretty great. Just lacked stage presence for me.

The Ne-Yo song is horrible. If it outpeaks the Sats i'll be pissed.

iTunes Chart: August 2010
I have seen them both live and JLS are better vocally. I love TW but they don't look like group on stage. If you see them live, you'll agree. Lots of artists i thought sounded good on TV or Youtube don't sound great when you hear them live. They're being heavily underestimated. They're amazing actually. Top 5 is for definite i think.

They're nearly no.2

Alexandra Burke 'Start Without You' [1st/next single]
The reaction to Dynamite at t4 was crazy. people acted as if it's been a huge smash hit for weeks. It's so anthemic and the buzz over it is huge online.

JLS still got the Alan Carr show and people shopping about on Saturday. i wouldn't count on them not being no.1 :P

So sad about Kelis and Eliza :( i wasn't expecting TCIA to drop this much. It's a great tune to be dropping like this so early on. Happy they have the #1 in the bag this week, though.

Eliza doing soo well  Can't see what's wrong with the JLS song. People are being dramatic for no apparent reason.
