  1. Do you not already have all of songs though? Of have some of them been remixed/re-recorded for the UK?
  2. You see, what you all don't realise is that Klumzee is actually me.
  3. I know you're probably ok with waiting until January, after all it is just an internet song contest, but other people in your shoes have been allowed in without any questions being asked, and you're clearly a good poster, so I think an exception should be made or the rule (which has never really been put into effect in the first place) should be altered. Hang in there and stick around while we fight your corner, don't make me look like an eejit :P
  4. Six months is very long, and I appreciate why it is there, but come on, Klumzee has made over 600 posts, which may not seem much to the top dogs with 5 figure amounts, but it's still a healthy number, and you can't just sneeze out 600 posts, especially if you were an alias. All I'm saying is that little exceptions have been made in the past, whether they've been clumsy oversights or so that our little friends can join in and play, and I think and exception should be made this time, especially since y'all can be the big bad wolf and shoo people off with your anti-alias regulations but nobody has actually got off their backside and put it in the official rules. I'd also suggest that when it is put there, perhaps it would be more effective and fair to have it based on post count rather than time, or a combination of both. For example, anyone who has been here over 6 months OR over 3 months with more than 500 posts can enter.
  5. Well back in April/May, several countries were allowed entry that were members for less than 6 months (and in fact one that was only 2 months), and it's nowhere in the official rules or in the new countries thread. Klumzee has clocked up a good number of posts, and has been around almost as long as Ghosty had been when he was not only allowed to enter, but very much encouraged to do so.
  6. Wow. Harsh!
  7. When did the alias rule change from 3 months to 6 months?
  8. Where on earth will these fat naked lesbians be coming from in this Buzzjack gas chamber
  9. Hey if I have to spend my dying moments in a room full of other naked sweaty men then so be it...I can think of worse ways.
  10. Sorrysorrysorrysorry!! Careless wording on my part :( Feel free to edit that in Mein Führer
  11. Nah it's ok. Edited. :P
  12. I thought that the point of anonymous confirmation was so that mods wouldn't be criticised for rejecting something seen as cheap. Well I'm 100% sure that these songs aren't cheap, even if they are, I admit, a bit uninspired. Anonymous confirmation is efficient and I'm for it, but we're all going to find out what got rejected anyways (or at least I hope we are), so if you're going to be criticised for rejecting certain entries it'll happen regardless, it'll just be later rather than sooner. Like I said, this is not a confirmation, and I don't think there's anything wrong with what I've just done. In fact if more people did this then they'd probably get a feel for how "cheap" an entry is percieved to be before they even officially confirm it, so it could save you alot of bother. I'm not even 100% sure you read my previous post, considering your kneejerk response which didn't actually address anything I said.
  13. Seriously? I honestly don't see what harm there is. I do genuinely see the advantages of having anonymous confirmation, but this is not confirmation, and it doesn't make it unfair in any way. I think if we're to have anonymous confirmation, but an open contest, then participants should be free to at least discuss what they're thinking of entering if they want to. It's just like in MelFest for example...the deliberation and selection of entries is all behind closed doors, but there is always speculation of entries before the official list is revealed. Some artists even come right out and say they've submitted a song/been accepted. No harm in it, and if I'm punished for posting a couple of songs I'm toying with and asking for an opinion on them then it really is just pointless.
  14. Potential Entries for BJSC XXX Hey all, here are a couple of songs I'm considering entering for the next contest. The first one is... [edit]I wholeheartedly support anonymous confirmation :) All hail the glorious regime of Silas and Tyron :) [/edit] Let me know what you think of those!
  15. So I understand the benefit of keeping confirmation anonymous, but is there any punishment as such if an individual country wants to discuss entries they're thinking of sending? I can't see any harm in it, but I just wanted to check before I opened my trap...

They're legitimate reasons to leave and everything, and if you did it would be understandable...but Eledan has to be the country with the record for threats of withdrawal that have come to nothing  Except maybe FSR Rontvia :P

I wonder will his song be featured in the worldwide release or just the British one? If it's written by Carrie Underwood I can see her performing it on the American release.

They're quite similar I suppose, but I think I prefer the Moonwalker version to the Cahill version. The Cahill mix seems quite...clunky or something.

Looking back at the Christmas spin-off, I just realised I got a similar result for Sara McLachlan as well  In relation to other countries, the only consistancies I've noticed are that I seem to send songs that Rich likes but are too obvious / likely to flop for him to ever think of sending :P Still it means high points from FSR Rontvia more often than not. Also when I go down the singer-songwritery route I tend to be fairly safe in the knowledge that I'll recieve high points from Quotosibb, Kylienips and (formerly) Nonsuch. Although my entry seemed to have been completely overlooked by Kylienips this month...not that I'm bitter :drama:
  21. No Way Out is definitely among my favourites...Stuck In My Head on the other hand... I dunno I just find the guest rapper very jarring!! I think he's awful
  22. I think my main problem with the album is that it's "too" easy to listen to if you get me. It just fades into the background too easily. The production on both albums is lovely, and the melodies are nice, but bar a few songs, it is incredibly lacking in hooks, so it's very easy to let five songs pass you by and barely acknowledge them. That said I am giving it a second listen, and it is slightly better, but still I get the feeling it's one of those albums where the tracks are more suited being listened to in isolation rather than back to back.
  23. She's had other singles? :P

I think the intention was to release a dance version of Big Blue Wall, but this version, not the Cahill version. YCitL3ZUNtM
  25. Also, I hate to say it, but I listened to Cocool last night, and nothing's jumping out at me :( I suppose it should be taken for granted that nothing on there was gonna reach the heights of Butterflies, but there's not even a Longshot on there...it's all blending into one for me at the moment sadly.
