  1. The entire 30 second clip is the chorus, the verse comes before the clip starts
  2. Well I suppose that's The Saturdays out since Una looks set to pop around springtime. Not that they were ever in mind.
  3. Martyn, I sent you my confirmation and I'm mentioned on the list on the first page, but my entry wasn't on the list you sent through to the mods this afternoon.
  4. Apparently it was added last week for about 48 hours by mistake.
  5. The full explanation is as follows: You didn't vote :P
  6. Peter30 posted a post in a topic in Eurovision Song Contest
I'm not overly fussed on the Maria Lawson song, but I'm really liking When The Sun Goes Down!
  7. Never mind, found something
  8. Right I have NO IDEA what to send!!! Not that I'm too worried, I was in this situation the month I ended up sending Charice, but still I'd like to not be desperately scouring the internet until 9
  9. There is often the worry of having "too many" entries and it never really seems to happen, so I'm not too concerned, but nevertheless, there will be a cap of some sort; discussions are taking place. The three semi-final option will not be happening.
  10. To be fair, I'm pretty sure they just mean dance-pop like the last album, they'd be foolish to go down the Love Love Love route...and according to Scandipop it is still very much a "disco" album. Phew!
  11. Liam, if you don't mind me asking, where did you hear that Red One produced the song? I haven't read that anywhere else! Also, apparently she has been working with Mando Daio (alternative rock) and the Salazar Brothers (raggaeton) on this album...hmm...
  12. Batidas are certainly on one of the best initial streaks ever and have been getting it right time and time again. Still though, I think it's a teensy bit premature to assume that they'll be consistantly excelling for the next 18 months to be up at the top of next year's list!
  13. I'd say there's an 80% chance of it being neither of those things tbh.
  14. Yep, coming later this year apparently
  15. What?
  16. Exactly, I'm not judging her for doing so, as I know she would usually sing completely live and loads of artists do the same thing...but still, some people are way to quick to accept something as live when it isn't :P
  17. If the backing vocals are HERSELF singing the MELODY (and quite loud in the mix at that) then it could hardly be considered "100%" live.
  18. I have to say, I'm glad that they've made the production significantly different from Release Me, because it could very easily have been made into another string-laiden epic. It's nice that they've limited the strings to the little outro that harks back to Release Me, but haven't let them take over the track.
  19. Neither did I...I'm not convinced that it's completely live, but if it is, fair play to her, she's got 10 times better.
  20. I agree, it's quite childish in some ways, but for a song called "Unfriend You," it thankfully doesn't take that Facebook analogy too far. It's easy enough to ignore.
  21. Well, I've had a 100% success rate with that formula before :P Also, I'm not saying that I therefore should do incredibly well with this just because it is the same formula, but I am pretty sure that if it was sung by a girl (and close your eyes and it may as well be), it would be SAILING into the final, so I'll be mightily pissed off if the people predicting it to crash out are right!! :o
  22. Unfortunately you're not quite in record-breaking territory yet! XX and XXI had entry numbers in the 50s. I think 54 is the highest.
  23. I think he was half-joking Tom :P
  24. In that case you'd kind of have to AQ. There aren't any firm rules about AQing but I had assumed that even semis was kind of a requirement. If you didn't AQ then somebody else would have to, which would be a bit random.
  25. Don't send Hera Bjork's new song, it's only OK...
