    334. "The boy does nothing" Alesha Dixon (3 weeks) Reached #1: 8 February 2009 UK Chart Peak: #5 Mis-Teeq never made that much fuss in my chart, their biggest hit being "All I want" which peaked at #12. However, Alesha Dixon found much greater success in her solo career, with "The Boy Does Nothing" hitting #1 in my chart and becoming a top 3 hit in Finland, France, Norway and Spain. Alesha would have two more top 40 hits in my chart to date: "Breath Slow" and "To Love Again". xGnSuTWXC9A

  4. Just wondering, were there plans for a Band Aid thingy in 1994? If so, why it didn't happen? Was the Band Aid II's embarassment still too recent?

Yes, Madonna's Music entered at #1, the previous week's top 10 went down one place (#2 to #11), followed at #12 with the new entry of Daphne & Celeste's take on School's Out. I also remember the week in 14-4-2001 when there were no entries, re-entries, climbs or non-movers in the positions from #20 to #40. All the 6 NE, one re-entry and two non-movers that week were all within #1-#19.

    332. "Run" Leona Lewis (6 weeks) Reached #1: 14 December 2008 UK Chart Peak: #1 An exquisite cover of Snow Patrol's 2004 hit "Run" (#6 in my chart), this was Leona's third #1 in my chart, staying there through Christmas and well into January 2009. It was #1 in the UK, Ireland and Austria. Such was the demand for the track, that it kickstarted the trend of people buying phony cover versions of a song before it becomes available in the UK. It was one the three new song in the deluxe version of her album "Spirit". jqpAgMxhx30

    331. "Rain on your parade" Duffy (3 weeks) Reached #1: 23 November 2008 UK Chart Peak: #15 One of the new tracks from the deluxe edition of the "Rockferry" album, "Rain on your parade" became Duffy's second #1 hit. It was originally written as one of the possible themes for the James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace". Whereas Duffy chalked four top 10 hit in my chart in 2008, she has since entered my chart only once when 2010's "Well well well" hit #16. iQJj4w9-WuQ
