iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 4th August 2013
"The Edge Of Glory" should've been the front single, insteadof being marred by early release and a disappointing video.

Blurred Lines becomes the UK's 137th million seller
It's a shame that nowadays any massive hit can easily sell one million and from 2003-2010, even the biggest hits would hardly reach that much. If sales in 2007 were like nowadays, Umbrella would probably sell a million in its fourth week.

#2 hits that were blocked by 2 or more songs at #1?
Underground classic beaten by two novelty hits. How sad is that.

#40 hits
1993 was the year I first got interested in the UK singles chart. In that year, I remember that a novelty hit, "Suntan" by some guy named Stanley hit #40 in July (I think) and then faded away. I haven't found it in YouTube, does anyone remember? I remember that the chorus said something like "suntan in my toes".

Most famous one-hit wonders
One True Voice were pretty much flushed down after losing the 2002 Christmas Chart battle to Girls Aloud. But this still made to #10 and I listened to this a lot when I got NOW55. 4MqtW0flac0

Most famous one-hit wonders
I know, but that's how I remembered it (and that it was a top 10 hit).

Most famous one-hit wonders
"Amnesia" is heavily played in the VH1 Europe breaks.

Most famous one-hit wonders
What acts are widely perceived as one-hit wonders but actually had at least one more sizeable hit? For me the most famous case is Eiffel 65 who everybody seems to have forgotten that the follow-up to "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" made to #3.

Forgotten chart toppers!
For pretty much obvious reasons, most Westlife charttoppers are quite forgettable, and this one is no exception, but somehow this one has stuck in for me. azdesKO7r4Q And this one is not all that evident to point out, but for me is their best (tied with FWW) 7NrQei36fJk

Forgotten chart toppers!
This actually sold more than BWWT (according to a Gezza thread).
