Sadly NOW 66 didn't do that with Lil Star and Beware of the Dog. I guess both artists songs flowed quite well next to each other.

True. They'd probably just fill the rest of track listing with old songs from 2013-2014.

I agree with gooddelta and T Boy. Thanks to NOW easily getting the rights to all the massive hits of the moment, songs that just miss the top 10 or hang around the bottom of half of the top 40 get overlooked which is a shame, because some of those songs are better than the UK Number Ones. Do you think Warner are going to boycott the NOWs from now on or will we see Clean Bandit on NOW 88? I'm wondering if WMG are thinking of doing their own HITs series.

Big omissions and random flops. This is now 87, not NOW 55. It's so odd. But what are you going to do. Looking through the track listing again, it's not that bad really. Some nice pop inclusions on disc 1 and the bottom of disc 2.

I've looked and it's got to be a issue with Warner Brothers, I don't know what they're doing, but all the missing hits are from the Warner record label. Especially with Parlaphone (Guetta, Kylie, Lily's label) being moved to WMG.

That was what I was thinking, but since NOW is now owned by Sony, I thought they'd have a bigger chance of getting XO at least.

No Shakira & Rihanna either. Was that a hit? Did Warner Brothers decide not to give them the rights to a lot of the missing songs? I know Rather Be, Air Balloon and Trumpets are Warner releases.

So NOW 87's track listing has been released. I'm disappointed and considering not buying this one :cry: No Lily Allen, Kylie, Beyonce or Britney :cry:

Why do people think the NOW Series are going down hill? Surely it's the music that's going down hill, not the actual NOW CD, surely?

I love these yearly mashups! But they seem to be made from US DJs. I hope someone in the UK or even Europe does one that includes the big Brit Hits of this year as well.
