The Now Music Thread
From OfficialCharts.com: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/n...ming-soon-1440/ I'm already thinking this is going to be a big disappointment, it wont be as good as the spin off Number 1's album in '06. Just a collection of EMI/Universal artists. :arrr: Also! Just when you thought they've done everything, a new spin off is coming in August. "Now Chillout" http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/32711297/0...ingDetails.html They really are milking this franchise now!

Now Music do get a lot of Warner music artists. Flo Rida, Alesha Dixon, Veronicas, Bruno Mars, Christina Perri, Ed Sheeran, Jason Derulo, B.o.B, Birdy and Wiz Khilla were all on Warner Music. And Madonna was on Now 00's with Hung Up. So no issues with Warner at the mo, so we could see it :D And why "It Wasn't Me"? :( Why not "Angel". I love that song!

I would love it to be on NOW 82  If it has some staying power in the UK Charts I think it will. Will it be the first Non-UK Eurovision entry on a NOW?

I have to admit, I thought Now Disney was an odd spin off, but Reggae? I don't think any NOW has contained a Reggae song at all  And I hope we just don't get a ton of repeats we see all the time on NOW Spin Offs! I hope we see a Madonna Number one (so many to choose from) or at least a Kylie classic

I really like it, I don't think we've ever had a white font cover and is obviously a remake of the US cover of NOW 42 in the US (which is a pretty decent album (and i'm not just saying that because it contains Madonna)).

Now 44 Appreciation Thread
NOW 44 was and still is fantastic. I remember wanting it for Christmas '99 on tape! Got really angry that I got in on CD, but in the end it was for the better  I think both discs are fantastic, although some songs have aged quicker than others. I'm not surprised it's sold over a million copies in the UK.

Cartoon Discussion Thread
I find Cilan in Pokemon to be really annoying. He thinks he knows everything. Brock knew everything but he didn't boast about it. The fact they've gotten so far in the Unova reason is beyond me. I also want an Axew of my own. It's so adorable! Also, anyone a fan of Adventure Time?

Jason got replaced by Flo Rida :) But you're right, i think they've covered the last few months pretty well.

why is he still getting added to these? Are his songs actual hits?

The Now Music Thread
I think it's just to boost sales of albums since JLS and Sean Paul have already released stuff from their albums. The NOW series are a great way of promotion according to my tutor and she has got a point

The Now Music Thread
I was talking to my tutor who worked at Universal about why some songs don't get added until a later now and it's because they're still getting a large amount of air time on radio. And so I think that clears up Nicki & DJ Fresh quite well, plus DJ Fresh seems to be a hit/miss with the NOWs. I remember getting disappointed when Gold Dust wasn't featured on a NOW (although it did get added to Now Dance 2010). As for the tracklisting, I think it's very good! Some fantastic songs and I love the continuity of artists like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson. Plus all the songs I wanted (Born to Die & THE) got added. plus, FLORENCE!! And as for Flo Rida. I prefer Wild Ones because "Good Feeling" is crap compared to the original. Again, a WTF for Sean Paul. Maybe it's something NOW have to do to keep Warner Music happy, like when they added the Cee Lo Green songs to NOW 78 & 79.

Yeah I saw that! I brought it yesterday, it's such a great compilation. Jennifer Lopez & Mick Jagger) 02: Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) 03: Lana Del Rey - Born to Die 04: Beyonce - Love On Top 05: David Guetta - Titanium / Turn Me On (Love both on it)

Atomic Kitten - Set for comeback
I knew it, that Atomic Kitten compilation is made by the people who did the recent two disc Greatest Hits of All Saints. Very good, and as much as I love Atomic Kitten, I don't think I'd really be interested unless there'd be new material really.

I think we could see another Kelly Clarkson appearance :cheer: A top 10 hit, no reason not to include it. As long as they leave off the charity singles it could be a pretty solid now. I hope they do include Born to Die by Lana as well. A nice batch of female popstars that's for sure. Although right now, i'm more interested in the Now Running album.

I was thinking more Rihanna - S&M for the cover, and I don't think they've revealed the bonus tracks, should be along shortly. I have to say the US NOWS are getting a lot better.
