The Now Music Thread
I was talking to my tutor who worked at Universal about why some songs don't get added until a later now and it's because they're still getting a large amount of air time on radio. And so I think that clears up Nicki & DJ Fresh quite well, plus DJ Fresh seems to be a hit/miss with the NOWs. I remember getting disappointed when Gold Dust wasn't featured on a NOW (although it did get added to Now Dance 2010). As for the tracklisting, I think it's very good! Some fantastic songs and I love the continuity of artists like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson. Plus all the songs I wanted (Born to Die & THE) got added. plus, FLORENCE!! And as for Flo Rida. I prefer Wild Ones because "Good Feeling" is crap compared to the original. Again, a WTF for Sean Paul. Maybe it's something NOW have to do to keep Warner Music happy, like when they added the Cee Lo Green songs to NOW 78 & 79.

Yeah I saw that! I brought it yesterday, it's such a great compilation. I showed it to one of my tutors as well and she went to get it during the lunch break at Uni  Songs I want on Now 81: 01: will.i.am - THE (The Hardest Ever) (feat. Jennifer Lopez & Mick Jagger) 02: Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) 03: Lana Del Rey - Born to Die 04: Beyonce - Love On Top 05: David Guetta - Titanium / Turn Me On (Love both on it)

I thought this would flop just like "I Do Not Hook Up". I was very wrong. A top 10 hit is fantastic :cheer:

Atomic Kitten - Set for comeback
I knew it, that Atomic Kitten compilation is made by the people who did the recent two disc Greatest Hits of All Saints. Very good, and as much as I love Atomic Kitten, I don't think I'd really be interested unless there'd be new material really.

I think we could see another Kelly Clarkson appearance :cheer: A top 10 hit, no reason not to include it. As long as they leave off the charity singles it could be a pretty solid now. I hope they do include Born to Die by Lana as well. A nice batch of female popstars that's for sure. Although right now, i'm more interested in the Now Running album.

I was thinking more Rihanna - S&M for the cover, and I don't think they've revealed the bonus tracks, should be along shortly. I have to say the US NOWS are getting a lot better.

And Rihanna has another double appearance. She must get a nice cheque from Now Music that's for sure. I think they were originally going to go all out for it and then couldn't afford to get Sony/Warner to contribute, so they got stuck

Little Mix • Debut album
I don't think Girl Bands should do collaborations, none of the others that have done well have had to do it. And I'm very excited, hopefully Little Mix will save the Girl Band image, because right now The Saturdays aren't holding up very well.

DJ Earworm / World Go Boom
I prefer Titus Jones. Fantastic Mash Up DJ 3oZtRqC507s As for the new DJ Earworm mashup, it's better than his 2010 one, which was dull! Infact I love it, it's got a lot of energy in it.

Now 80
that's because they didn't have copyright to a lot of songs. So when they did splurge on the NOW they would get the occasional sony or warner artist. I don't know why, but I was expecting something a lot bigger for the 80th edition. But it's good still, kind of reminds me of Now 74 and that was a pretty strong NOW
