Lady Gaga - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
This is currently her second most streamed song on US Apple Music, just behind DWAS! Currently at #48 on US AM (Pop), the power of playlist exposure. And that's with it not being on the most streamed AM playlist currently: "Essential Christmas". It's on its second most streamed: "Holiday Hits". On Spotify, support remains non-existent. Also, up to #119 (+45) on AM Canada.

Mayhem ● 7th album
Who said that? Gaga never said that, you're running around in circles because you can't bring proof that she expressly said she would never include the song on the album. Of the four collaborations that your absolute fave included on her album, she only helped write two of them and did not help produce any of the 4 songs. Gaga produced and wrote DWAS with Bruno, it's a totally different situation, as she was there throughout the entire creation process. It's as much hers as it is his, cope.

Mayhem ● 7th album
Just like she never said she wouldn't include it on her album. Everyone can do it, but when Gaga does it it becomes a sin and controversy begins and I'm sick of it.

Mayhem ● 7th album
You have repeatedly put her words on the table and tried to deny her allegations about her own work by claiming she's just doing it for the numbers: Should I say anything else or will you deny what you said? I understand that for YOU, these songs don't fit into her albums, but anyone else has every right to think they actually fit into her albums and they will remain on them just like DWAS will remain on LG7. Every fan can give their opinion but they are not in charge of it, the one who has the final word on Lady Gaga's work is Lady Gaga herself so if she decided it will be like this, it will be like this. Gaga came close to having a universally acclaimed album on Metacritic with Chromatica (79), however, she will never have one as long as haters are in the editorial offices of magazines like Slant, always making biased reviews of her stuff. It's not about her work itself but about how jealous people are of her and want to see her fail since day 1. And yes, you discredited her words when you made that comment: She had never said that she would never include DWAS on the album in first place. You made that up and now you want to call her a liar, like?

Mayhem ● 7th album
I said that y'all are taking her to the gallows because I didn't want to say what I really wanted to say: y'all are being misogynistic in crediting only Bruno for the success of the song and discrediting her considering that y'all are debating the fact that she included HER song on HER album, which she performed, produced AND wrote. It's her art, her work, she has every right to do whatever she wants with it, the song is as much hers as it is Bruno's. She has already said both in this interview and in her Christmas Carpool appearance that the album has several genres and that this represents the chaos that is precisely the album's theme. If you're expecting some flow on it, you won't find it, she's already made us aware, so DWAS makes perfect sense to be on the album by being the total opposite of Disease. There is a difference between criticism that builds and criticism that destroys. I always wish the best for her. You will never see me criticizing Gaga for wanting to be successful through her own work like y'all are doing.

Mayhem ● 7th album
The Fame - Brown Eyes The Fame Monster - Speechless Born This Way - You and I (and there songs like Judas, and a rock song like Electric chapel) ARTPOP - Dope (an album with songs like Jewels 'n' drugs and Swine) Joanne - Million Reasons and many others Chromatica - 1000 Doves LG7 - Die With a Smile As we can see, every Gaga album always has a ballad or a song that clashes with everything else, which has never stopped all of her albums from being acclaimed and having a green score on metacritic, so I don't know where you got that she including DWAS on the album could harm her in some way. Either you don't know the artist you say you're a fan of or you're making all this fuss just for clout, because I know I wouldn't see so much controversy if the song was a flop. I've already proven with several examples that almost every artist has done this type of strategy before and no one took them to the gallows, this only happens in this fan base. She does what she wants and doesn't need to explain to anyone about the moves she does regarding her art and her career.

Mayhem ● 7th album
So you have to bring me proof where Gaga said she would NEVER include DWAS on LG7. She never said that. And even if she had said that, she would be stupid not to do what ANY other artist would do in her situation. She would just be playing the game everyone else plays in the industry. The fact that the song became the massive hit of 2024 is the reason for all the controversy. If the song was a flop, none of you would be questioning Gaga about including her song which she performed, helped write and produce, which puts some of you as haters since you don't seem to want to see her having success through her own work. Disease performing poorly is another subjective take, it was another top 10 hit for her in the UK, it's still stable doing 1M streams daily and will reach 100M by the end of the year, it wasn't a big hit like DWAS but it also wasn't the big flop that some of you want to carve. It performed on par or even better than Perfect Illusion, which, even though it was an underperformance, didn't prevent Joanne from debuting at #1 in the US with 200k copies nor from selling 1M pure copies according to IFPI. It's her song, she includes it wherever she wants and nobody has to put her against the wall for that.

Mayhem ● 7th album
As I saw elsewhere: So she's just playing the game like everyone else once did. Almost every artist has done this before and hasn't been criticized, so Gaga won't be either.

Mayhem ● 7th album
What part of "There are so many different genres on this album, and I think my favorite thing about it is the chaos of it all" didn't you get yet? She already said it twice. Her saying "while you wait for LG7" doesn't necessarily mean that the song wouldn't be on the album. Any artist would kill to have a song like that on their album and I'm happy she started playing the game like everyone else plays. It's her song and she does whatever she wants with it. If Bruno wasn't upset and gave her the green light to include it on her album, nobody can say anything about it, thank you very much.

Mayhem ● 7th album
Mama heard me. :dancing: She would be stupid not to take advantage of everything this mammoth song has achieved so far and will still achieve by leaving it as a standalone single. Bruno wasn't stingy with APT, so he shouldn't be with DWAS. She helped write and produce the song, it's her song, period.

Lady Gaga - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
All the artists you mentioned were already out of the game when they came up with Christmas stuff, they had nothing left to lose plus they getting a fat check during the Christmas season. It's definitely not a rule nor is it the current state of Gaga's career. If everyone can have a piece, so can Gaga. A Christmas album in 2025 would be perfect at the end of LG7's promotion, she can record it between the tour shows.

Praying for #1 on Hot 100 and a reset in the UK in January. It would be a belated but welcome Christmas gift.
