I ain't gonna lie, this song goes off at the gym. 6M views and 4 hours to go, will it end up with 7M?

Because everyone knows that Gaga's albums (except ARTPOP for obvious reasons) always have standard commercial songs that were mistakenly not released as singles: The Fame - Starstruck, TFM - Dance in the Dark, BTW - Fashion of His Love and Hair, Joanne - Diamonds Heart & Dancin In Circles, Chromatica - Alice, Babylon

Stop being a little girl and @ me, do like me, dot your i's and cross your t's. I said it and I'll say it again: neither Disease nor Abracadabra should have been released as singles when she got Zombieboy and other jams on the album but she is allergic to releasing pop songs with standard format.

So ending first day with 6-6.5M views, very good, but it needs to hold up and not plummet like Disease.

Radio tracking days don't end on Sunday like they used to, it's been years since tracking ends on Friday along with streaming and sales so the song lost 3 days in all components already. The wisest move would have been to drop everything last Friday and perform it at the Grammys so the impact would be absolute, but we can't expect wisdom from Gaga's team and record company.

The verses are the weakest part of the song, her voice is too raw/vague for me and I don't like the way she sings in it, as if she had an egg in her mouth, it needed more layers and effects. The pre-chorus with that keyboard >>>. The bridge almost at the end is divine too.

It's decent. I hope they move it up to the top 10 on Friday.

Also added to Apple Music's Today's Hits so it will probably also be added to Spotify's TTH tomorrow or Friday. Promotion on point, shame they released it on a Sunday night.

Where did this come from?

Like I said, the video is a 10/10 but the song is a 7.5/10. Would I love it if the song blows up to shut me up? Obviously. But nothing falls from the sky, promotion has to be there and so far the song is not having playlist support and will only have 4 days of tracking, no song could have a good debut under these conditions no matter how good it is.

My girl deserves the world! Congratulations to the 14x Grammy winner, she just tied Taylor Swift tonight. Edit: but still upset that they didn't perform DWAS.

It's past time for Gaga to get her AOTY too. 4x nominated without ever winning. Beyoncé won in her fifth nomination, I hope Gaga does it too.

I loved the Exorcist reference and the fact that she's including her new alter ego throughout the era. The song is a 7.5/10 for me though.

I just knew he was going to cheat and steal a week from us. This song made zero noise. Billboard is ridiculous for agreeing with this.

And when the video comes out with the song, it loses 3 days of tracking and its minimal chances of charting are completely destroyed... It's like we can never fully win. She is surrounded by amateurs who cannot keep up with the current music industry.
