  1. It would be a slightly smarter move (seeing as Kendrick has his superbowl Sunday so we're fried anyway) but I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for any success from this considering her label was specific when they said she was going to drop it today. She should have dropped it last Friday, the Grammys don't have the exposure they had 10 years ago, they're just wasting tracking days in the hope that Grammy slot will work a miracle.
  2. And NOTHING indicates that they will sing it either, as the only rumor out there is a tribute with a cover of MJ's song. Also, Lady Be Kind would be enough for them to avoid performing the song just because of its title, although it relates to people in different ways.
  3. Foolish of you thinking they're going to officially drop it. Anyway, everything is rumor until show time. I'm still rooting for a DWAS performance.
  4. If little delusionals are excited by a song, it necessarily means that it won't be a hit, especially with only 4 days of tracking and without any playlist support. Talk about a bad strategy.
  5. No one will complain if she does this. We just want a decent album rollout like every artist gives to their fans, is that too much to ask? If you think fans are complaining for no reason, give me just one example of an artist having the #1 song in the US and in the world and not performing it to perform a tribute with a random song instead.
  6. @1885498123436323099 Please Lady Teresa, do your homework today :please:
  7. Fake  @1885799295355420786 I really hope they perform DWAS too.
  8. But it's also at #1 on US AM and US Amazon Music (country being its main genre)... A performance tomorrow would eliminate the threat because I'm already telling you that just a broadcast victory won't boost the song, if you're expecting that.
  9. A Grammy performance would keep them at #1 on both the Hot 100 and Global Spotify. Watch them waste this opportunity while everyone and their grannies will perform their nominated hits.
  10. Which only highlights the urgency for them to perform dwas tomorrow, no excuses.
  11. @1885504024448827430 @1885499279285895499 @1885502758507135230 Everybody right on her ass telling the truth. We don't want any more tributes girl, you have an album coming out next month to promote. Like?!
  12. Or the staff took advantage of the fact that both of them would be attending to get an award and asked them to do a tribute of a random song instead of the biggest song in the world right now... :hithead: Still rooting for a Dwas' acoustic performance though.
  13. Adelita posted a post in a topic in Lady Gaga's Lady Gaga
Yes, fan made unfortunately, and it is the most requested color everywhere on the internet from what I see. Someone needs to get in touch with her record company, they are leaving money on the table.
  14. Funny because I see Gaga's name in the song. One of us must be delusional.
  15. Not another tribute... Everyone performing their own stuff while Gaga will do another tribute... @1885497135837172161
  16. We don't care about Shallow anymore, we have an even bigger hit in town
  17. Of course I know, however, being subversive and always wanting to go against the game is not always a smart attitude. If you're a true Gaga fan, you know damn well how much she fought to get out of the commercial decline her career faced between 2013-2017 with the ARTPOP era + her singing jazz while everyone else kept dropping pop hits + Joanne which wasn't necessarily a comeback. Everybody knows that ASIB saved and changed the course of her career forever and I don't want her career to return to the state it was in before ASIB. I just want her to stand on her own two feet and not be held hostage by collabs forever, is that hard to assimilate?! It's hard to understand that if she continues to drop noisy niche solo songs like the ones I mentioned, she will continue to struggle to get hits without another act singing on her song? Is critical acclaim a good thing? Yes. Does critical acclaim from 20 pseudo-magazine reviewers put food on the table? No. So the point is: every artist (Gaga included) wants to be successful, no matter how much they try to deny it, that's why they get signed to record companies and put their stuff on sale, so don't act like edgy weirdos who just want noisy, non-commercial music that only a minority will listen to because at the end of the day all that matters in a capitalist world are numbers, for me, for you and for Gaga. Sorry if I'm straight to the point.
  18. Yes and I hope they announce their joint album and stadium tour after taking home the Song of the Year award :cheeseblock:
  19. @1885425568688021683 Hope they perform :cheeseblock:
  20. Bring it back to me when I said you guys are not allowed from saying what you'd rather she release or that she doesn't have the freedom to release anything that comes to her mind? lol. You have your opinion, I have mine, period, however, when it comes to numbers, facts are facts: solo songs she's been releasing since the Joanne era don't even come close to the quality of the 2008-2013 solo stuff she released, not even close, numbers don't lie. Her mentality of only releasing solo songs that go against what plays on the radio and what hits the top of the charts is a shot in her own foot. It may not seem so dangerous for her career in the short term, but in the long term, time takes its toll. You can be sure that the Beatles didn't become the best-selling acts of all time until today by releasing songs that only a specific niche would listen to. At the end of the day, play the game or you're out, that's it. She can continue to release as many songs that only a specific group of fans will listen to as she wants tho, however, she and her fans can kiss the charts and relevance goodbye.
  21. I don't care about your opinion either, however, when it comes to numbers there's nothing to argue about, facts are facts, as long as she continues to release songs like 911, Disease, Perfect Illusion and Abracadabra, haters' narrative is that she doesn't get solo hits like she used to will continue. I have the charts to back up what I say, you just have your opinion.
  22. Disease over Die with a Smile? LMAO, that's why she can't get solo hits like she used to, her team must be full of people like you.
  23. Just because I'm not used to lying like you? Facts are facts, this song won't do anything on the charts and y'all know it. Another wrong move in her career.
  24. I love how y'all lie to yourselves even though y'all know I'm right deep down. I don't need to hear the entire songs to know that every other snippet confirmed on the album is more commercial than abracadabra, which will only be played in gay clubs with lots of things that I can't write here. Everyone pretending to support this song? Okay, but then don't act surprised when it performs worse than Disease on the charts.
  25. I see it's hard for some to understand that Gaga can balance art AND charts. Zombie boy is right there, Garden of Eden is right there, (another commercial song from the album) is right there to do the job, instead she's going to make her record company spend tons of money to air a video for a song doomed to flop during the Grammys break.
