Would not be the first time Addy has derailed me on SyncTube #neverforget

Ok that's a bit more conclusive then, semi 1 tonight it is x

BTS and Charli xcx's 'Dream Glow' (#61) was for the soundtrack to a BTS mobile game.

Also money x

React for semi 1 or 🙏 for semi 2 x

These responses are inconclusive so far

Thanks Wardy, 4 medals for Ennaria in the end not quite clawing back a top 10 but a nice comfortable top half finish, happy with that x And one more great entry there from Cow, absolutely deserved a better result than it got. Well done @uhsting, Nadah was actually my 12 pointer after the SyncTube session but HMLTD grew on me more after that - still, fab to have given a medal to the winner, and certainly one that feels like it fit the theme very well! And I voted for all of the top 4 hooray, hadn't noticed Mary Ocher getting so high in the scoreboard! HMLTD also sneaking in making it half of the top 10 getting points from me, good stuff (and my bronze medal Daniela Lalita only just missing out on the top tier as well). A little surprising that QT wasn't more of a contender, who knows how it would have done if it had been allowed into BJSC back in the day... JMSN and Ruusut deserved better too x Also although I didn't vote for it I do kind of love seeing 'Chili Con Carne' actually making the top 10 - will definitely be one of the more memorable songs from this edition! Thanks for hosting a fun and (mostly) eclectic edition @Chez Wombat (now we'll see if you remember to break ties by number of votes hehe - edit: you did, good). I presume it'll probably be the 2026 Special edition before we next get the next regular instalment of this? x

Kicking myself out of the top 10 (well I might have been 11th cos tiebreak but still x) Have been doing a bit better than I expected anyway, will see what the last few voters do I found Ennaria from a New Music Friday thread on /r/indieheads where there was a comment comparing her to Jane Remover, her music is definitely very sensory overload (also reflected in the album cover art, and in her music videos which this song sadly does not have) but found this song to have a very earworm melody on top of some great maximalist production. Slightly depressing/concerning lyrics though. x Getting points from some people I didn't expect and conversely nothing from a few people I thought may be fans! I was anticipating some decent points from @uhsting after their comment on SyncTube so yasss for a 12 there, but much less expected to see my other two medals so far coming from @Lindsey. and @Tafty Thanks to @Chez Wombat, @AllStarBySmashMouth, @Cody DiLaurentis, @Dobbo, @RobBot and @Lee_J11 for the other points, I hope these points from unexpected pop hoe sources may carry over to my current BJSC entry xox

Me being one of the last few voters may be less good news for Ashnikko xox

But she can't get 100,000 retweets :'(

Yet they're all massive flops x

Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, Rita Ora x

Love to see O Future doing so well - their BJSC entry back in the day (going by the name OOFJ at that time) was robbed and this is another great song from them. (Did not need to see the toenail clipping in the video though)

JMSN was quite a standout entry, an bop x (didn't know he was of Albanian descent, their diaspora not solely consisting of flop pop girls )

Thanks Rich, I will now never forget the Mexican spices <3

Lovely song here from Ane Brun. Not heard her one in the current BJSC yet to compare but looking to be a good month for her x

ROSALÍA's impakt I fear (I was initially looking for an artist similar to her but I couldn't find anything x)

Much love for Daniela Lalita <3 easily my favourite of the Spanish entries here. I commented on SyncTube that it sounds like a song that would be a Spanish Eurovision entry that gets hyped online but ultimately bombs (i.e. the Blanca Paloma special) x

Who'd have thunk after the suspiciously detailed comment Spiceboy made on SyncTube re: Cher

An bop

Good pick from Mattias and definitely fit the brief, catchy and quirky x

Tbf I think a fair number of the hints either aren't really Google-able or require you to have at least some knowledge of your own even with Google assistance so I don't think it's entirely cheatable x (intrigued to see some of the wrong answers though assuming you will be revealing them xx)

The second film gets too much hate imo, it is definitely not as good as the series and the first film but I still enjoyed it for what it was! (I never watched the 'Fwends Reunited' thing though and don't ever intend to x)

Shocked that @WoW73 isn't 10cc etc. I really enjoyed the instrumental of the CHARLOT track although the vocals didn't do it for me as much.
