'Where Is Gone?' not being the Spotify focus track is giving me fear it somehow ends up not charting at all because of the 3 track rule. It is quite deep into the tracklist as well! But hopefully the Hot Hits add will counteract that x Good to see a decent number of new releases off to a fast start for once.

'Liberty Belle' was B-Listed as well!

It's also still on most streaming services anyway - it's only Spotify that they boycotted.

All I'll say is I'm glad some of the people who have posted their alternative eliminations were not the actual judges xx

May or may not have also submitted x (Unlike in round 3 my hypothetically planned choice for if I am still in is not excluded by this theme one of the songs I may send at some point if I get the chance to is 11th on the list so cannot be swayed to it yet ~)

Spooky names may or may not be enforced on those who do not provide them xo

Dziękuję x

Tbh I think I did prefer this to the battles - they're both brutal in their own way but we kind of need a brutal round to cut down the numbers at some point. So many of the battles were just one artist being instantly DOA when the thread went up and then a slow and painful wait to have it confirmed, at least with this everything was announced live and bandages ripped off more swiftly? x (and it's a little less harsh on the culling anyway with it only eliminating 1/4 of the artists rather than 1/2)

'Release Me' enters the fray for the Wagner then. Whoever went out there would have been a bit of a shock to some degree - I was half thinking Adele might be about to go out. I am sure I have heard that Agnes song before but I don't remember it too well oop ~ (can we still get some Spotify playlists for the songs from this round? I have been listening to the songs as commute music on my way to and from work, still want to do so for this bunch but I am too lazy to make playlists myself )

Being a main pop girlie is not bounded by gender tbh

Much harder to call who else will be swapped out here!

RIP in peace.

A third feature has hit the towers. (and technically not even a credited one...!)

Omg yas another The Family Jewels banger from MARINA *.*

Maybe I've not been paying close enough attention to your votes so far tbf but your name definitely stood out as being more pop-oriented than the other two judges at least!

Oof that is a risky pick for ar Leona

Another feature oh my (never personally been a big fan of 'Symphony' but objectively she should be fine with that)

The Bush still not whipping out either of her #1s! (but still a classic ofc x)

Dorito wiG

Ahh commiserations to everyone's favourite staple food. Also not familiar with that song despite it being, I gather, one of his more well-known ones (I confess I think 'Cannonball' might be literally the only song of his I'd ever heard before this) so I can't really comment yet on if I'd have been saving it myself! The old man lives to fight another round though despite being drawn with the least alt bloc judge

Oh but that definitely is Tom's best song. Tentatively not mad if he survives for that x

Whose day may be about to be ruined by Tom Grennan 👀

Sam Fender is now pretty quickly burning through the songs I actually like by him hehe Good picks from Calvin and Sam S as well + Gary obvz (just after I posted on SyncTube that I'm not sure Tubeway Army would be allowed to be submitted here lol, I was overthinking it clearly x). I will listen to the HRVY song as well x

As much as I have taken the piss out of HRVY, commiserations whoever sent him, and at least there was the silver lining that I did find one song from him I quite like in 'hesitate' x (now please don't use 'Personal' for the Wagner round or I will take back even that tepid positive)
