(Greenfroze is a tune too - it had a more lighthearted sound to it than I expected given the song title (all of SKYND's song titles really) and the rather more dark atmosphere of their previous BJSC entry, although it's still pretty dark lyrically ofc) Oop at Mulgracia being out again, thought this was another decent entry from them (certainly better than the two previous CHINCHILLA entries for me). Was hoping 'Where Is Gone?' might sneak in from its first partial day but still a decent start on Apple Music at least and good to see their other songs rising on Spotify (plus 'Roman Holiday' finally debuting, guessing it's not been far out for a little while considering its entry in the official top 100 the other week, still no idea why it's seemingly on SCR while 'I Love You' isn't but hey ho). It is a gorgeous song (I was probably always stanning it no matter what based on the artist names alone lbr) but I'm not sure it sounds like as big a hit as 'Marianne', hopefully it can chart decently though especially with their album being out for its first full week ofc, think I saw it had a vinyl release coming too but not sure when it's coming out. If it can be a new chart peak for ROSALÍA that's good enough for me!

Chappell does make a lot of sense for a remix for this song - not one of my absolute favourites from the album but a banger nonetheless and if this makes it a big hit then I'm not complaining x (though I will continue to sit and wait for 'maggots for brains' to assert itself as the true sleeper smash of the era)

My prediction was pretty close! I might be out when these start but will try and follow on my phone at least. Voted at 23:59 lolol There were a couple of songs among my top half of the semi that grew on me on second listen but also a couple that I liked a bit less so balanced out to still feeling about the same about it. x

The implication that the lyrics of 'My Neck, My Back' aren't Pulitzer Prize worthy art x (I tend to not really pay attention to lyrics at all most of the time oop, there is the occasional song that I really enjoy for great lyrics or think is ruined by especially dreadful lyrics, but about 98% of the time the lyrics kinda wash over me and I judge more on the sound and ~vibes~)
