You did say in advance that you weren't going to give a deduction for late voting so not like you were intentionally influencing the winner, I wouldn't worry about it. I think a lot of the non BJSC contests usually don't bother with late voting deductions. KKB still the moral winner in a way because they were only denied the win by a guest voter though tbh xx

The previous biggest gap in a non-consecutive Q streak was satisfyingly exactly 100 less than that - Bhangra's return entry in BJSC 86 resumed a streak for them after a gap of 57 contests. Also worth noting that Dalisska's last qualifier was in BJSC 47 (they entered in BJSCs 55 & 82 but both DNQed), both Lentyll and them break the previous record gap between two qualifiers, which was held by Ben's Sanctuary (89 contests between qualifiers in BJSCs 59 & 149, with one DNQ between). (ok that's enough stats dumping again for now)

Sneakily edited Jim's post above, Lentyll are underlined as well, in their original run they qualified twice but not in consecutive contests (actually it was their first and last entries in BJSCs 15 and 22 respectively, with a run of 6 DNQs between). As such this is also their first time qualifying with 2 entries in a row even if there was over a decade and a half between those two entries (also just amended some colour coding and alphabetisation + N DNTN's non-consecutive run being on 5 rather than 4) Zanmatony's previous run of 8 qualifiers was in BJSCs 141-148 and Flynnonda's previous run of 4 was in BJSCs 124-127. Neat that Kluminican Republic's record in consecutive contests now syncs up again with their non-consecutive record, although Lentyll's record has de-synced so the overall number of countries whose record Q streak is longer when not restricting to consecutive contests stays the same - and that's a higher number than I'd have guessed, there are 52 in total, will go down to 51 if Terra Avium qualify again in the next contest. The biggest such discrepancy is #00274E whose Q streak record in consecutive contests is 9, but their non-consecutive record is 18, as they had two separate runs of 9 qualifiers separated by a 2 contest break (BJSCs 67-75 & 78-86). Chez is bad at bluffing, it was still obvious he sent KKB xx quite easily my fave here <3 I can't remember if I listened to it when it first came out or not but I slept on it either way. A fitting title for the song as they're certainly well rested now with them still having not released another project since the EP this was the closing track on 4 years ago (and only a couple of throwaway singles / collabs). Also lol that it was Whoddy himself who initially sent Remi Wolf again when he was the one who sent it in the first place :') 'What Matters' was a good replacement though and one of my biggest growers on the second listen, was initially only my 1 pointer but bumped all the way up to 6. Disappointingly low result for it even before the deduction! And a good tune there from Herbs as well, finding your stride in this contest it appears x Thanks to Chez and uhsting giving my 2nd and 3rd highest points at the end there momentarily yeeted back into the bottom 3 by Harry's guest votes but then back up to 4th from last because of Whoddy's deduction lol. I'll take it. Same result as I got in the last Bop Idol as it happens ~ Congrats Rob, this is now the fourth song contest on here that Allie X has won (BJSC twice + 'Mistress Violet' also won the Drag Race Song Contest lol) so she's clearly too much of a cheat code even with decidedly average songs like this one which I ranked 23rd/28 ddd. Great to see my 12 finishing 2nd anyway (Chez back in his favourite position x) and I still ended up voting for all of 2nd-5th (edit: 2nd-4th + 6th after tiebreaks) even though I'm not that big on the eventual winner. Also nice at Geowulf making the top 10 and Baby Bugs hanging on there even though she fell back a bit from earlier in the reveal aw. Francisca and esoragoto were robbed as well x Thanks for the hosting AllStar edit: actually I'm wrong, 'Mistress Violet' was only 2nd in the Drag Race contest, it was the other recycled song from BJSC that won again there x but still, 3 song contest wins for Allie now

Ah sorry I totally forgot I hadn't posted this yet so thanks Jim I'll double check the details / if anything else is missing later but from what I recall Flynnonda have also matched their previous record streak. Obviously the Bøtanikkä situation has no precedent here, I've decided to count it as neither a qualifier or a DNQ so if they qualify again next month I'll count it as a streak of 2 in non-consecutive contests. (And if they DNQ it'll just be a DNQ streak of 1, not that I ever post DNQ streak stats but I do have them in my spreadsheet x) Oops at 2 countries being denied the full house of qualifiers for the year at the last opportunity again x

I had this song as a BJSC potential back in 2014 (and actually did send it to PopJustice back then, I had kind of forgotten about that / didn't really occur to me I've been entering there as well for quite that long lol but it did similarly poorly there x), I shouldn't be surprised at it flopping as it's rather understated and probably quite of its time production wise but it's enchanting enough to me that I've kept going back to it periodically for over a decade so thought I might as well finally give it a go in something on this site. Think it is my first Korean entry to anything on BuzzJack! Great entry from Cody but anything The xx related is always gonna be a cheat code obvz

I did kinda know esoragoto would be Iz due to insider information from BJSC hehe. Cute entry, my favourite of the Japanese songs on offer x Really liked Jade's entry and pleased to see it smashing so far - reminded me a lot of Nicole Dollanganger's 'Lemonade' which was underrated in BJSC x
